🌟 In-House Teacher Training Programme | 01 August 2026 🌟
All Saints' Diocesan School, Tezpur successfully organised an enriching In-House Teacher Training Programme on the theme:
"Empowered Teachers, Disciplined Classrooms: Positive Classroom Management through Teacher Wellness."

The day was dedicated to empowering our educators by strengthening the connection between teacher well-being and effective classroom management. Through insightful sessions, teachers explored practical strategies on managing stress, understanding student behaviour, positive classroom management, de-escalation techniques, restorative conversations, positive reinforcement, and creating engaging, disciplined learning environments.
✨ The programme was vibrant and highly interactive, featuring:
•Ice-breaker activities
•Group discussions
•Role plays
•Music therapy
•Reflection exercises on Emotional Wellbeing
•Collaborative problem-solving sessions
Teachers enthusiastically shared their classroom experiences, reflected on real-life challenges, and learned innovative strategies that can be effectively implemented in their daily teaching practices.
🎭 One of the highlights of the programme was the Department Challenge Activity conducted by the Academic Coordinator- Ms Sachita Gautam, where teachers creatively demonstrated various teaching methodologies through role plays, project-based learning, inquiry-based learning, learning by doing, experiential learning, and other innovative pedagogical approaches. The activity beautifully showcased the creativity, teamwork, and professional expertise of every department.
🍽️ The most heartwarming moment of the day was the Shared Meal, where teachers came together beyond their classrooms to connect, collaborate, and celebrate the spirit of togetherness. This simple yet meaningful initiative strengthened collegial relationships, fostered mutual respect, and reinforced the school's commitment to building a positive, supportive, and collaborative school culture.
The programme concluded on a high note, leaving every participant inspired, refreshed, and better equipped to create happier classrooms, stronger teacher-student relationships, and a more positive learning environment.
