Report on KID’S OLYMPIC at Redeemer Matric. Hr. Sec. School
If there is one field of life which teaches us the most valuable lessons about perseverance, patience in fact what constitutes a perfect character, it is sports. Thus, On 21st October, 2023, Redeemer Matric. Hr. Sec. School organised its first Annual Kid’s Olympic . The event took place in the spacious play ground of the school. The Director of physical Education of St. Joseph college of education was the chief guest of the event. A large temporary sitting arena was constructed for the parents and students to sit and enjoy the day. A welcome dance and drill were presented by the children who left the spectators spell bound. Students of KG classes participated in the events. The four houses of the school cheered for their respective members. The KID’S OLYMPIC started with the march past of the four different houses. After the march past, the students of the four different houses competed against each other in sports events like (un games) hurdle walk, hurdle run, weight lifting, wrestling, boxing, cycling, gymnastic etc. Apart from the non-participating students, the parents too cheered for their children. In the end, the principal thanked everyone for their presence and support, and congratulated the students for their exceptional performances...
