Every superhero deserves a well-earned break, and the wonderful superheroes of Gitanjali Vedika are no exception.

On the last working day before the holidays, our teachers came together to unwind, celebrate, and cherish some joyful moments. The day was filled with laughter, music, dancing, fun games, and light-hearted conversations. With refreshing treats and a relaxed atmosphere, it was truly a time to pause, recharge, and connect.

As they step into a well-deserved break, they carry with them beautiful memories of togetherness and joy - ready to return refreshed, energized, and inspired.

Gitanjali Vedika has earned the reputation of promoting and providing a greener, healthier and sustainable campus premise. On the 18th of April, that was also the last working day for the students before the Summer Vacation, the school organised a ‘Seed Ball’ activity in association with Bhumi Organisation for Grade 6th students. The students were divided into small groups according to their houses and each house was given clumps of soil, compost, husk and a few seeds. The students combined the seeds with soil and compost and made a number of mud balls. The prime objective of this activity is to make balls that have seeds planted inside them so that wherever they throw these seeds, they grow into green plants whenever and wherever they get appropriate amounts with water and sunlight in the monsoons. The students thoroughly enjoyed this activity and it also encouraged them to promote nature friendly and sustainable practices in their day to day lives. The students took the mud balls back to their homes where they’re supposed to take care of them till they turn into fruitful plants. This further inculcates a sense of responsibility and sustainability in their minds.

The excitement continued with a lively round of Musical Chairs, where students enjoyed every moment with energy, enthusiasm, and lots of laughter!

It was a perfect blend of creativity and fun, making the last day truly memorable for everyone.

The last day of term was enjoyable and meaningful for our Grade 5 students. They played Seven Stones, showing teamwork and enthusiasm. The class then watched Mitchells vs. the Machines, which they found engaging and thought-provoking.

To end the day, students wrote reflections on how they plan to learn during the summer break. It was encouraging to see their ideas and willingness to continue learning beyond the classroom.

"Great literature is simply language charged with meaning to the utmost possible degree."
-Ezra Pound

Gitanjali Vedika is known to uphold its students' confidence and creativity at the highest.
What better than a Literary Declamation Competition that would cater to the aforementioned! The school organised a Declamation Competition for the students of Grade-7. In this Competition, the students were dressed like their favourite poets and poetesses and quoted their famous speeches and lines as a First Person Narrator.
This competition was organised to focus on how the students present themselves, their confidence and their oratory skills. A number of students from all the 3 sections of Grade-7 participated in the competition and performed phenomenally. Such competitions motivate students to speak with confidence in a public platform, it also stimulates better English speaking skills and enhances clarity that enables the students to communicate effectively.
