Dear Students, Teachers & Parents,
Today we celebrate World Environment Day with the theme:
“Our Land. Our Future."
At Cradle2Crayons, we believe every small step counts. Let us initiate a “baby step” today with our lovely kids:
1.Plant one sapling at home, or in your neighborhood
2. Reduce plastic use by carrying a reusable bottle and bag
3. Respect nature by saving water, saving electricity and by keeping surroundings clean.
Our preschoolers and the Primary Wing are on Summer Break, only the Middle Wing is on. This puts the onus on the parents in particular, to engage with your little wards in doing the above activities. Let us remind them that The Earth does not belong to us, we belong to it.
Let’s pledge to be protectors, not polluters.
Happy World Environment Day!
From Team C2C

The School Activity Hall got abuzz with the students of Classes I–VII celebrating Mother’s Day through creative art work on the theme “Mothers – A Child’s First World”.
Using simple materials like ice-cream sticks to craft handmade frames with mothers’ photos placed inside, they made sketches of the mothers' stretched hands holding the child in arms, painting the loveful images of the mother, the flowers, the heart with poster colours and crayons to depict these in different hues and scenes. This way they created emotionally memorable gifts for their mothers at home. The activities concluded with a song&dance performance to express gratitude to all mothers.
The activity fostered creativity, gratitude, and strengthened the home-school bond.
