ਬਾਬਾ ਬੁੱਢਾ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਸੈਕੰਡਰੀ ਸਕੂਲ, ਬੀੜ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ "ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦਿਹਾੜਾ" ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਸਕੂਲ ਦੀ ਗਰਾਊਂਡ ਵਿਖੇ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਬਦ “ਦੇਹ ਸਿਵਾ ਬਰੁ ਮੋਹਿ ਇਹੈ” ਦੇ ਗਾਇਨ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।
ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਕੂਲ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਮੈਡਮ ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਜਫਰਵਾਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੌਮੀ ਤਿਰੰਗਾ ਲਹਿਰਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਰਸਮ ਅਦਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਉਪਰੰਤ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਕੈਡਿਟਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤਿਰੰਗੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਮੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੂਰੇ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਗਾਨ “ਜਨ ਗਣ ਮਨ” ਗਾਇਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਸਮਾਗਮ ਮੌਕੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਦੀ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਮੈਡਮ ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਜਫਰਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਮਹਾਨ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਵਾਨਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਥਾਹ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਹੀਦ-ਏ-ਆਜ਼ਮ ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਰਾਜਗੁਰੂ, ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਊਧਮ ਸਿੰਘ, ਲਾਲਾ ਲਾਜਪਤ ਰਾਏ ਸਮੇਤ ਅਣਗਿਣਤ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਵਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਿਸ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ਹਾਲ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਕਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰੀ, ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨ, ਦੇਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਸਮਰਪਣ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਭਾਉਣਾ ਹੀ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਚੀ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਡੀ.ਪੀ.ਈ. ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਮਨਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਜਗਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਦਵਿੰਦਰਪਾਲ ਕੌਰ, ਅਕਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ, ਡੀ.ਪੀ.ਈ. ਅਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਪੱਧਰੀ, ਭੁਪਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਤਰਸੇਮ ਸਿੰਘ, ਜਸਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਅਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਸਮੇਤ ਸਕੂਲ ਦਾ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸੀ।
Independence Day Celebration at Baba Budha Public Senior Secondary School, Bir Sahib
Baba Budha Public Senior Secondary School, Bir Sahib, celebrated Independence Day with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm. The programme began with the recitation of the sacred Shabad “Deh Shiva Bar Mohe Ihai.”
Principal Madam Sarbjit Kaur Jafrawal hoisted the National Flag, followed by a salute by the NCC cadets and the National Anthem, “Jana Gana Mana.”
On the occasion, the Principal extended Independence Day greetings and highlighted the sacrifices of great freedom fighters including Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Udham Singh and Lala Lajpat Rai. She encouraged everyone to uphold honesty, discipline, patriotism and responsibility as a true tribute to the martyrs.
The programme was attended by the school staff and students.
