Today, our vibrant Grade 7 students from Stepping Stones High School embarked on an inspiring field trip to a Tie & Dye Workshop in Mandapeta, East Godavari District. Known as Bandhani in India, this timeless art form sparked creativity, nurtured entrepreneurship, and unveiled the science behind colors and fabrics—all through hands-on fun with affordable, natural materials.
In this low-cost, high-impact activity, students transformed plain fabrics into stunning masterpieces, blending tradition with modern flair

Skill Education in Action! 🚲✨
Our Stepping Stones High School, CBSE, Tanuku, 6th grade students embarked on an exciting field trip to a local bicycle repair shop as part of our vibrant Skill Education program.
They dove hands-on into diagnosing and solving common bicycle issues, including:
• Rusting of metal parts and prevention tips
• Tightening loose components for safety
• Freeing up wheels for smooth rides
• Repairing flat tyres like pros
The young mechanics also mastered fixing key bicycle parts: brakes, chains, spokes, kickstands, handlebars, and tyres!
This immersive experience sparked curiosity, built practical life skills, and showed our students how everyday problem-solving powers real-world success. Proud of our budding innovators! 🌟

Today, the bright young minds of Classes 1 and 2 from Stepping Stones High School, Tanuku, set off on a memorable field trip to discover the wonders of local water bodies. Bursting with curiosity, the students observed flowing rivers, serene ponds, and vibrant wetlands up close. Through hands-on activities and guided discussions, they learned about the importance of water conservation, the role of aquatic ecosystems, and simple ways to protect our precious natural resources. The trip sparked joy and environmental awareness, leaving everyone inspired to become little guardians of water!

Field Trip Report(22/1/2026): Exploring “కుటీర పరిశ్రమలు” (Cottage Industries)
Our Stepping Stones High School, CBSE, Tanuku, organized an exciting field trip for 4th-grade students to deepen their understanding of “కుటీర పరిశ్రమలు” (Cottage Industries) from the Telugu curriculum.
The young explorers visited local small-scale units, including a Metal Mesh manufacturing facility and a Cushion Cover production unit. They observed hands-on processes, from raw materials to finished products, sparking curiosity about traditional entrepreneurship and skill-based livelihoods.
Post-visit, students eagerly completed inquiry-based worksheets, answering thought-provoking questions that encouraged critical thinking and reflection on their observations.
This immersive experience not only brought the textbook topic to life but also inspired our students to appreciate the vital role of cottage industries in our economy.
