Eco Club FKM HSS Chandilora

*World Environment Day 2025*
Today On 5th June 2025 Fazil Kashmiri Memorial Government HSS Chandilora Tangmarg Celeberated World Environment Day with fervency and passion. The Programme was organised by NSS Unit of FKM Government HSS Chandilora Tangmarg in coloboration with Eco Club of the institution. The Programme was started by the opening speech of Worthy Principal Mr Zaffar Iqbal Sir. Worthy Principal Sir gave green Signal to a Rally which comprised of display of Pla cards & posters and sloganeering. The rally moved through the Main Chandilora. Just after the rally there was an in and out Campus Cleanliness Drive. The school campus and nearby areas were cleaned. Painting Competition was also part of Day long Programme in which students expressed their Environmental concern through the medium of art. Subsequently there was a Seminar on this Year's World Environment Day theme i. e. "Ending Plastic Pollution Globally". Mr. Sharik Sideeq Sb anchored the Programme.Different student and teacher Speakers shared their views regarding the menace of Plastic and its hazardousness. The Seminar Culminated with the speech of Vice-Principal Mr. Farooq Ahmad Lone Sb. All these Programmes and activities were conducted under the supervision of Worthy Principal Mr. Zaffar Iqbal Sir.
NSS Volunteers,students and staff participated in above-mentioned activities very actively.

Speeches Regarding the theme "Save Energy" were delivered on 5th Day of week long Programme on the World Earth Day. The Programme was organised by Eco Club in Coloboration with NSS Unit of FKM Government HSS Chandilora.

*Celeberation Of World Earth Day*
NSS Unit of FKM Government HSS Chandilora in Colloboration with Eco Club of the institution Celeberated World World Earth Day. Different activities like Awareness Speech, Nature Walks and Creation of QR Codes for Flora were held. Students and volunteers participated With zeal and enthusiasm.

*Summer Camp*- *Day 07*
*World Environment Week*
NSS Unit of FKM Government HSS Chandilora Tangmarg in coloboration with Eco Club of the institution Celeberated 07 th Day of Summer Camp regarding the World Environment Week. The camp Culminated with today's Programme . The theme of Day 07 was "Say No To Single Use Plastic" . Awareness through speeches and posters was spread among volunteers, students and other participants. One of the Volunteer Danish Bashir and Senior Teaching Faculty memberMr. Maqsood Ul Hassan Bukhari delivered their speeches regarding the said theme. It was impressed upon that Plastic is very hazardous substance . It has adverse impact upon both human health and Environment. It was urged that we should use alternatives in place of Plastic like steel, wood and earthen items. It was stressed that we should Adopt the Principal of 3R s i.e. Reduce,Reuse and Recycle as for as Plastic is concerned . Solid waste today has become a burning issue & nuisance and single use plastic is major contributor in solid waste generation.
Moreover an account of the activities and Programmes, which were done during the World Environment Week, was Presented.

*Summer Camp-Day 06* *Theme_Save Water*

NSS Unit of FKM Government HSS Chandilora Tangmarg in coloboration with Eco Club of the institution Celeberated 06 th Day of Summer Camp regarding the World Environment Week. The theme of Day 06 was Save Water. Awareness through speech was spread among volunteers, students and other participants. Some students and Mr. Sharik Sir delivered their speeches regarding the said theme. It was impressed upon that water is among the basic and very essential requirement of living organisms. Itz Pre-Condition of life. Life can't be think without water. Students were awared about the Scarcity of fresh water and the importance of Wise, just and Sustainable use of water.
Moreover worthy Principal Mr Zaffar Iqbal Felicitated the volunteers and students who Participated in different activities and programmes during week regarding World Environment Week Celebrations.

Theme : Save Energy
10 June 2024
On 6th Day Summer Camp regarding World Environment Day Speeches and Awareness Programme were organised by NSS Unit of FKM Government HSS Chandilora Tangmarg Baramulla. Some students and staff members delivered speeches. Students and volunteers were sensitized regarding the saving and conservation of Energy. Moreover Adopting of New and Renewable Energy sources was also explained and it's advantages there of.

Day 4 of summer Camp of World Environment Week was celeberated with theme Reduce Waste.Awareness Programme regarding the Management and Regulation of Waste was Organised by NSS unit in Colloboration with Eco Club of FKM Government HSS Chandilora Tangmarg. Programme Coordinator NSS and Nodal officer of Eco Club threw light on the Management of Waste.

*Summer Camp-Day 3*
Week long activities regarding the World Environment Week are going. Theme for the Day-3 is "Reduce E-Waste"
In this regard NSS Unit of FKM Government HSS Chandilora Tangmarg in coloboration with Eco Club of the institution Organised an awareness program it was impressed upon that we should manage E-Waste properly, systematically and in Environment friendly manner. It was to the volunteers, students and other participants that we should adopt a golden principle of 3 Rs i. e. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle the E-Wastes. Collection, reduction in generation, Reuse the working E-goods, Recycling of parts and safe Disposal of abandoned and Broken parts of E-goods and appliances was taught. By adopting these practices only, we can prevent our Environment from the substantial and potential threats of E-Wastes.
