For the ones quietly carrying too much…

If life ever starts to feel too heavy — not because of some grand crisis, but because of the quiet exhaustion that builds over time — just know this:
You don’t have to keep performing strength.
You don’t have to have the answers.
You don’t have to earn your right to pause.
You’re always welcome to come back.
To school.
To my office.
To me.
Not as a student, not as a professional trying to prove something—
but as hashtag .
Come sit with me.
You don’t have to say much.
You can talk, cry, laugh, or simply breathe.
No questions. No advice. No “what’s next?”
Just presence.
Just space.
We’ll eat something simple.
Talk about nothing urgent.
Lie back and count the fan blades like we once did with stars.
And when you leave — because you will leave again, stronger —
you’ll carry with you a part of this silence,
this room,
this bond.
And if you're not physically here, that's okay too.
Because sometimes, just remembering that there is a place in the world where you are enough as you are…
is all the strength you need to keep going.
The world will keep asking you to be more.
But I will always remind you:
You already are.
Whenever you need…
my door, my chair, my listening…
they remain yours.

To every student who ever sat across from me and wondered if it was okay to feel tired — yes, it is. And yes, I’m still here. Come by. Even if only in thought.

This isn't just another parenting article.
This is your wake-up call.

Parents: Your 3-year-old's "stubbornness" isn't defiance. It's their nervous system screaming for help. Stop pushing through their resistance. Start understanding it.

Teachers: That "difficult" child isn't giving you a hard time - they're having a hard time. These strategies aren't suggestions. They're survival tools.

Everyone else: The next time you see a child "misbehaving" in public, remember this: they're not being bad. They're being overwhelmed in a world that feels too big, too loud, too much.

If you work with young children, this changes everything.

This hit me at 3 AM last night.
Two brilliant students. Same dream. Opposite struggles.
One fighting to prove he belongs. One fighting to prove he deserves it.
Both losing.
I wrote about what nobody talks about:

🌕 “The moon doesn’t shine on Guru Purnima. It reflects the light of the Guru.”

A disciple asked, “Guruji, when does learning end?”

The Guru smiled, “The moment you stop questioning — you stop growing.”

That was the ancient way. Gurus didn’t give answers.

They gave lamps, and let you find your path.

Fast forward to today — and look around.

The Guru isn’t just someone with a title. It’s the one who held space for you to ask. The one who didn’t just teach you what to think, but how to think.

So today, on Guru Purnima, I want to pause not just to thank the Gurus of tradition — but to honour the ones who walk among us.
