Jindal Institute of Power Technology (JIPT) is recognized by the Central Electricity Authority (CEA), Ministry of Power as a category-B Institute, as per provisions of Sub Rule 2A of Rule 3 of Indian Electricity Rules 1956. It is promoted by the Jindal Education and Welfare Society and is a part of the O.P. JIPT is located inside the 4X250 MW Jindal Thermal Power Plant in Tamnar, Raigarh, Chhattis

garh. The Institute aims to produce technically trained professionals for power utilities in India and abroad and prepares students to operate or undertake maintenance of power generating stations of 3400 MW and above capacity.

As the year draws to a close, the commitment to learning at JIPT remains unwavering. We believe that continuous capability building is not just a process, but a powerful driver of motivation, excellence, and future readiness.

We are pleased to conduct two focused training programs during this period:

1. Emerging Technology in Mining

This program highlights the application of Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, Remote Sensing, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) to enhance safety, productivity, and efficiency in modern mining operations.
Conducted in collaboration with the Engineering Staff College of India - Hyderabad from 22nd–24th December 2025

2. Capability Building Program (CG-4 to CG-3 Transition)

Aligned with our Talent Development Roadmap, this program is designed to support executives transitioning from CG-4 to CG-3. The curriculum focuses on leadership readiness, effective communication, behavioural excellence, and financial acumen through interactive and experiential learning.
Conducted by Indian Institute of Management Raipur from 22nd–26th December 2025.
