I reiterate , always love to disguise the storyteller in me as a teacher . Exactly that kind of a fortutiy knocked at my door and i clutched it.
To facilitate kids of fifth grade, American International school, during their adventure sports ( part of their IG curriculum) and to reflect the same in the evening's.
Also had the chance to share titbits of our culture, country etc.
In one session the kids enacted the entire story of the Czar and Rasputin which i narrated , felt so content.
Really one of a kind experience. Thank God.

As a storyteller always considered myself a peace ambassador. And thats the reason i joined the NGO ,URI.( United Religious Initiative).Today, the world celebrates the day as International Day of Peace, lets pray to the Almighty to bless our universe with harmony ,love ,humanity , health, tolerance and other good virtues. Let us contribute even in a small way, whatever we can to promote peace . Especially storytellers can do amazing work while executing their tasks .
This years theme is, End Racism.
Spread stories, spread peace, love , joy, togetherness and most importantly social justice.

Children feel more connected when props are used in storytelling.Here I'm using a kamishibai theatre box which enhances the effects of storytelling. Proud and happy owner of a kamishibai.
