Guru Kashi University ,Talwandi Sabo In the year of 1699, Sri Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Guru of Sikhs, visited Talwandi Sabo (District: Bathinda, Punjab) and stayed here for about a year.

He blessed this place as ‘Guru Ki Kashi’ i.e. Place of Knowledge and Learning.
