The much-awaited ANNUAL SPORTS DAY of SNEHAVARDHAK MANDALS SOCIAL and EDUCATIONAL TRUST was hosted on 9th December 2022 i.e Friday on the spacious school grounds. Many events took place with great pomp which added stars to the occasion. The ceremony was compered by Mrs. Sayali Korhale - asst teacher in Secondary School. The program began with a parade of Dr. A C High School Captains who received the guest. The welcome address was delivered by the PT instructor of the school Mrs. Deepali Ware. The Sports Captain of Junior college Master. Malhar Gunjal and Miss.Kusum Choudhari along with the Dr. A . C . High School Sports Captain Master. Pranit Mali and Miss. Vedanti Vairagade handed the sports torch to the Chief Guest. A wonderful synchronized Malkhamb display was presented by the secondary school students. A remarkable personality Shri. Ashish Kasodekar the ULTRA RUNNER, CYCLIST, GUINNESS WORLD RECORD HOLDER & THE BASKETBALL PLAYER was invited to mark his valuable presence as CHIEF GUEST for the day. Other prominent personalities in the field of sports too were invited as guests of honour, Mr. Vishal Shete - Marathoner & Pull Iron Man Finisher, Ms. Maitreyi Bokil - Nutritionist & Exercise Physiologist and Ms. Priyanka Ingale - National Kho Kho player & Gold Medalist. Introduction of the guests was given by V- Principal of SMS&ET Mrs. Kanchan Kadu and Supervisor of Primary School Mrs. Leena Pargi. The students of Junior college and Dr. A C High School performed the house-wise march- past which added the enthusiasm for the further events. A well synchronized, coordinated drill on the rhythm of the music was presented by the students from different sections - primary, secondary and junior college which kept the audience stunned. Fun games played by primary munchkins kept the gathering entertained. A lot of zeal and enthusiasm was seen during the tough TUG OF WAR and RELAY matches which were played by the houses of Junior college and of Dr.ACHS. The winners of each section were appreciated with trophies and certificates. The RED House of Dr. A C H School and the KALPANA CHAWLA House of Junior College won the CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY ЁЯПЖ of the year. The Principal of SMS&ET Mrs. Nutan Kamble addressed the gathering with words of appreciation and encouragement. The Chief Guest and the Guests of honour also addressed the gathering and motivated the students to keep sports as a part of their daily routine and to be determinant enough till they achieve their goals. Treasurer of SMS&ET Shri.Shivaji Agale directed the audience with his speech, sir appreciated and congratulated the teamwork of everyone. Mr. Mahadev Kharatmal gave a formal closing to the function with a vote of thanks. Last but not the least a spectacular event of the closing ceremony of the sports meet for the academic year 2022- 2023 was conducted by the P.T instructor Mr. Sunil Ukale, School Captains, Sports Captain, and the House Captain of Dr. A C High School where the School Sports flag was lowered and handed to the Principal. The event concluded with pasaydan sung by Mrs. Leena Pargi supervisor of the primary school. For a month, continuous sports events which were conducted with hard work, determination, and enthusiasm of students and teachers resulted in the successful accomplishment of the SPORTS MEET.

7th INTER SCHOOL QUIZ competition was hosted by Dr. Annasaheb Chobhe High School on 25th November 2022 i.e Friday. Thirteen schools namely Mt. St. Ann Convent High School, Saraswati Vidya Mandir, P. V Paranjpe, Dr. D. Y . Patil School, Rameshkumar Sawhney High School, Mamasaheb Khandge High School, Podar International School, Swami Vivekanand English Medium School, Dr. Annasaheb Chobhe High School, High Vision International School, Krishnarao Bhegde High School, Prajnanbodhini High School, and Kantilal Shah High School participated in the prestigious event. The Quiz Master Mr. Naman Jain conducted the quiz very innovatively, giving the students an experience of applying their knowledge in an amusing way. The luminaries of Snehavardhak Mandal's Social & Educational Trust like President Shri. Chandrakant Shete, Secretary Shri. Kishor Rajas, Treasurer Shri. Shivaji Agale, founder member Shri. Dr. Dhakephalkar, Principal Mrs. Nutan Kamble, Vice-Principal Mrs. Kanchan Kadu, Supervisor of Jr. College Mr. Deepak Khatawkar, Supervisor of Dr. A.C.H.School Mr. Sagar Kenjoor and O.S Mrs. Sujata Kulkarni graced the occasion. The competition began with a formal beginning where the Vice-Principal Mrs.Kanchan Kadu welcomed the gathering through the welcome speech and also introduced the QUIZ MASTER, Mr. Naman Jain. The quiz was conducted in four rounds, where, out of thirteen schools seven schools made their way to the finals. The atmosphere was filled with a lot of heat for winning, keenness, and enjoyment at same time. The students' Mast. Ritanshu Santosh Aher and Miss. Avani Mandar Kulkarni from Kantilal Shah School made their place as the second runner-up, Potdar International school students Mast. Hayaz B Iman and Mast. Ankur Amit Despande were the first runner-up and the CHAMPIONS were Mast. Harsh Chandrabhanu and Mast. Soham K Thakare of HIGH VISION INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL. The winners were felicitated with the certificate and the champions took back to their school the rolling quiz trophy ЁЯПЖ. The Principal of SMS&ET Mrs. Nutan Kamble addressed the gathering and urged the students to be observant and have an urge for learning. The founder member of SMS&ET Shri. Dr. Dhakephalkar who initiated this INTER SCHOOL QUIZ COMPETITION nine years ago also addressed the students and inspired them to keep doing their best. Mrs. Priyanka Chaudhari also received a 'Nava Durga' award for being one of the Durga's from the teaching profession. The teachers were honoured with a trophy as a term of recognition. Every year on 2nd October, the nation celebrates the birth anniversary of the two national heroes of India, the 'Father of the Nation' - Mahatma Gandhiji, and our Ex-Prime Minister- Lal Bahadur Shastriji. Their selfless service to the nation continues to inspire everyone even today.
This year, Balvikas Vidyalaya celebrated the birth anniversary of the great patriots, Mahatma Gandhiji and Lal Bahadur Shastriji with great enthusiasm. On this occasion, the pre-primary section students were shown a PPT depicting the importance of great leaders. Following the guidelines of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan students of the Nursery, Junior KG, and Senior KG performed some activities such as cleaning their classrooms, school ground, and cherry garden. They were taught about the importance of keeping the surroundings clean.

In the primary section, Teachers - Mrs. Amrita Goyal, Mrs. Diksha Darvashi, and Mrs. Kalindi Kulkarni gave inspiring information about Gandhiji and ShastrijiтАЩs lives and the sacrifices made by them for the freedom of our country, objectives of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and their contribution towards it.
Their aims and principles were beautifully emoted through the cleanliness of classrooms by students of primary sections under the guidance of all class teachers. Students of standard lll D added a beautiful and pleasant song тАШSabarmati ke SantтАЩ, melodiously sung under the guidance of Mrs. Shaila Pawar. Charts and slogans were beautifully crafted by the students and the stage backdrop was decorated by Mrs. Roopa Khetre, Ms. Afreen Ansari, Ms. Simran Gaikwad, Mrs. Shamal Kudke, Mrs. Chaitrali Wajpe, and Mrs. Diksha Darveshi.

As this day became a symbol of the Cleanliness Drive in the country, the secondary section organized a Cleanliness competition under the Swachh Bharat Swasth Bharat Abhiyaan Programme on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. Students participated and showed great enthusiasm in class cleanliness thereby decorating their classes by putting up charts, decorating blackboards, Notice boards, and cleaning the playground, staircase, library, corridors, etc. Children came up with unique ideas for class decoration. The main purpose of this programme was to create awareness among the students regarding Cleanliness and its benefits.

The entire programme of this day was planned and carried out under the prudent guidance of Principal Mrs. Nutan Kamble, Vice Principal Mrs. Kanchan Kadu, and the supervisors of all sections, Mrs. Megha Kalyanpur, Mrs.Leena Pargi, and Mr. Sagar Kenjoor. They appreciated the programme and motivated the students to learn the values and principles of Gandhiji and Shastriji held in their life like truth, non-violence, respect for all beings, self-discipline, unity, harmony, sharing, and caring.

Hindi Diwas Celebration.
Hindi Diwas was celebrated with great pomp on 14th September in Dr. Annasaheb Chobhe High School. The ceremony started with Saraswati Poojan at the hands of the school Principal, Mrs. Nutan Kamble madam. Also, the students of class VIII sung the Saraswati song. The student of class X explained the importance of Hindi day to everyone and introduced the book 'Maila Aanchal'. The students of class VII presented the dance 'Vividhata mein Ekta'. The students of class V presented the group song 'Hind Des ke Niwasi'. The students of class IX gave information about the 'Importance of Hindi in our life and employment opportunities. All the Hindi teachers, Mrs. Renuka Medhi, Mrs. Priyanka Patil, and Mrs. Kamini Shrivastava expressed their views. Later, the Principal of the school, Mrs. Nutan Kamble ma'am, addressed the students by telling them the importance of Hindi Diwas. Students also witnessed the 'Hindi Exhibition' which was put up. Freedom is in our minds and faith is in our hearts. Pride is in our soul and love for the nation is in our blood. India is celebrating 75 years of her independence on 15th August 2022. To celebrate the love for the country our Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modiji has started a new concept of tiranga campaign which has been backed up with the slogan of 'Har Ghar Tiranga'. The Government of India is celebrating this day as a nector of festivals of India. Every year on the occasion of independence day many programs are organized by offices, colleges, and schools. In the joy of completing 75 years of independence of our country and to awaken patriotism among the citizens this year each and every house hoisted the tiranga.
We, the students and teachers of Balvikas Vidyalaya, celebrated this 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' in numerous ways. The entire week was celebrated with great pomp. STD I students made the collage activity, std II students made posters on patriotism, std III students presented various patriotic songs, and STD IV students made cutouts of slogans. A Pledge singing competition was also conducted for the students. Our teacher, Mrs. Chaitrali Wajpe gave information on the freedom struggle with slogans. Students, Saksham Patil, Dhruv Shinde, and Aradhya Mane sang patriotic songs in the assembly every day.
On 13th August 2022, students draped themselves as freedom fighters and participated in a small rally that covered the entire campus of the school. All the honourable dignitaries of the management also participated in the rally. The air was filled with slogans of Vande Mataram, Bharat Mata ki Jay, and Jay Hind. Rutwa Kulkarni of std III presented National Anthem on a synthesizer. Zanda Geet was presented by our teachers Mrs. Shraddha Tambade and Mrs. Vaishali Pophale The entire school was beautifully decorated with the three graceful colours. Posters of freedom fighters and slogans related to the independence movement were put around the campus of the school. The initiative of decorating the school was taken by our art teachers Mrs. Shraddha Kshirsagar and Mrs. Rupa Khetre. The compering was efficiently done by Mrs. Shreelata Shinde.
Sweets were distributed among the students. Children enjoyed the entire week filled with activities related to our independence day. All the activities were conducted under the guidance of our beloved supervisor Mrs. Leena Pargi ma'am. The entire function was appreciated by our respected Principal, Mrs. Nutan Kamble ma'am, and Vice Principal, Mrs. Kanchan Kadu ma'am. All the honourable dignitaries of the management also were very happy to see the efforts of the students and teachers and they too appreciated everyone.
Entire staff, teaching, non-teaching, and helping staff worked a lot to make this event a grand success. The whole week was filled with patriotism and gratitude towards the heroes of India's independence.

Independence day is a historic day for our nation and this year it is special as India celebrates 75 years of Independence - Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The celebration began with the Har Ghar Tirangaa campaign. All the students and the entire staff was given the Tricolour to be hoisted at our homes. The entire school was decorated with slogans, charts showing the progress of India and tricolor drawings. The Pre Primary section was not a step behind in joining the celebrations. The Pre Primary section conducted patriotic song competition as a part of the celebration. The morning assembly included the National Anthem, Pledge and the Flag Song which was followed by the competition. The students and the teachers of the section dressed up in the colours of the tricolour - Nursery in White, Junior KG in Orange and Senior KG in Green. Our Principal Mrs. Nutan Kamble madam and Vice - Principal Mrs. Kanchan Kadu madam joined the tiny tots for Pledge, National Anthem and Flag Song. Activities related to Independence Day were also taken. Nursery took ear bud dabbing and bottle art of the Flag, Junior KG took paper collage activity while the students of Senior KG made a beautiful Tiranga from grains. The teachers guided the students for the activity. The entire celebration was carried smoothly under the guidance of our supervisor Mrs. Megha Kalyanpur ma'am. Our respected principal Mrs. Nutan Kamble madam and Vice - Principal Mrs. Kanchan Kadu madam appreciated the tiny tots for the activities made by them.
