Awareness on Drug Addiction - 04.08.2022
An Awareness programme on Drug Addiction was conducted at
Adhiyamaan College of Agriculture and Research on 04.08.2022. All the students of ACAR participated in the programme. Mr. C. Anandhan, Sub Inspector of Police, Berigai and Mr. M. Vasanth, Head Constable, Berigai gave an overview of self-discipline for students viz., avoiding smoking, liquor & drug usage. In addition, they detailed about the ill-effects of drug addiction, guidelines for using SOS App and they made the students to install and practice the app. They sensitized about the online theft and the toll free number (1930) for complaining such issues. Dr. S. Sridharan, Principal explained the students about the good health practices to be followed. The Police officials asked the students to contact the police station, Berigai through mobile at any time under difficult situations.
