બાળમિત્રો, આજે શ્રાવણ મહિનાનો પહેલો સોમવાર છે. ભારતીય સંસ્કૃતિમાં શ્રાવણ મહિનાનો અનેરો મહિમા છે. આ મહિનામાં અનેક તહેવારો આવે છે. જેમાં આપણે ઉપવાસ કરવાની વાત હોય છે. એની પાછળનું વિજ્ઞાન એવું છે કે, શ્રાવણ મહિનામાં આપણી પાચનશક્તિ ઓછી હોય છે. એ માટે આપણે ભૂખ્યા રહી, ઉપવાસ કરવાનો હોય છે. અને ભગવાનની ઉપાસના કરવાની હોય છે. આ જ બાબતને ધ્યાનમાં રાખી આપણે સૌ આ મહિનાના સોમવારના દિવસે કા તો પાણી પીઈને. અથવા તો સાકરવાળું પાણી પીઈને. અથવા તો ખાલી ફરાળ કરીને. અથવા તો એકટાળું કરીને ભગવાનની આરાધના કરીએ.....
