Today, we mark World Music Day 2025 with the theme "Healing through Harmony." This theme highlights music's transformative power to:
• Provide emotional healing
• Relieve stress
• Foster social unity
Music has the ability to overcome personal and societal challenges, bringing people together through melody and rhythm.
A Brief History:
World Music Day originated in Paris on June 21, 1982, as "Fête de la Musique," coinciding with the summer solstice. The slogan "Faites de la musique" (Make Music) captured the event's spirit, encouraging people to create and celebrate music together.
Let's Celebrate the Universal Language of Music.
