*Gujarat Day*
Gujarat Day is celebrated every year on 1st May to mark the formation of the state of Gujarat in 1960. On this day, the bilingual Bombay State was divided into Gujarat and Maharashtra based on linguistic lines, giving Gujarati-speaking people their own state. The day is observed with cultural programs, parades, and official ceremonies highlighting Gujarat’s rich heritage, traditions, economic progress, and contributions in trade, industry, and culture.
*Maharashtra Day*
Maharashtra Day is also celebrated on 1st May, commemorating the creation of the state of Maharashtra in 1960 after the division of the Bombay State. It honors the unity, culture, and spirit of Marathi-speaking people. The day is marked by parades, flag hoisting, and cultural events across cities like Mumbai, showcasing the state’s history, traditions, and achievements in various fields such as arts, education, and industry.
*International Labour Day*
International Labour Day, celebrated on 1st May worldwide, is dedicated to honoring the contributions and rights of workers. It originated from the labor union movement, particularly the Haymarket Affair in the United States, which advocated for an eight-hour workday. The day highlights the importance of fair wages, safe working conditions, and workers’ rights. It is observed through rallies, speeches, and awareness programs, recognizing the hard work and dedication of laborers who contribute to the development of society.

🙏🏻Varshant Samaroh 🙏🏻
**************************************************************************
‘ Let today be the start of something new. ‘
A "Varshant Samaroh" is a traditional Indian ceremony, a year-end event, which is held every year in our school. It's a time to celebrate achievements and look forward to the upcoming year.
The school is decorated beautifully with festoons, rangoli and flowers. There is an atmosphere of freedom and happiness everywhere.
The most awaited day of our Gurukul Parivar where in our honourable Swamiji , principals , supervisors, teachers , non teaching staff come all under one roof to share their experience, views , thoughts and upcoming events. The day to relax and enjoy. To be devoted to the almighty through धुन, यज्ञ, राम रक्षा स्तोत्र, गीता पाठ.
The yummy lunch is then enjoyed by all the staff members collectively.
“Let us all be proud of our Gurukul
We all have to collectively strive to make it strong , vibrant and supreme. “
