CBSE Deleted Topics: Updated Syllabus Guide

As per the latest CBSE ( Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE ) curriculum, no major syllabus reduction has been officially announced.
Yes, CBSE mandates a three-language formula for Classes 6 through 10. Under guidelines aligning with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, students are required to study three languages, and at least two of them must be native Indian languages.
The key rules and updates include:
Classes 9 & 10: The study of three languages (categorized as R1, R2, and R3) is compulsory. Two out of these three must be native Indian languages. Foreign languages can only be taken if the other two are native Indian languages, or as an additional fourth language.
Class 10 Board Exam Exemption: To ease academic pressure, there will be no board examination for the third language (R3) at the Class 10 level. All assessments for R3 will be school-based, though the performance will still reflect on the CBSE certificate.
Class 6 Implementation: The phased rollout requires the third language (R3) to be introduced starting from Class 6.

Do you understand your childs emotions? If not....
Talk and label feelings: Use calm moments to talk about emotions. As you see your child's expression or body language change, name the emotion you think they are feeling. For example, "It looks like you're angry because your fists are clenched".
Listen without judgment: Let your child explain their feelings. Ask open-ended questions like, "Tell me more about that," to encourage them to use their own words instead of resorting to meltdowns.
Validate their feelings: Reassure your child that all feelings are okay, even if certain behaviors are not. You can say, "It's okay to feel sad because you can't play anymore, but we need to leave now".
Use stories and play
Read and watch together: Use characters in books, TV shows, and movies to discuss emotions. Ask questions like, "How do you think that character feels?" or "Why do you think they are sad?".
Engage in creative play: Use activities like drawing, playing with puppets, or dancing to give your child a way to express and explore emotions.
Make it a game: Have fun imitating different emotions in front of a mirror to help your child recognize their own expressions and what they look like.
Teach coping and self-awareness
Identify physical cues: Help your child connect emotions to how their body feels. For example, "You look nervous. Does your tummy feel wobbly?".
Teach coping mechanisms: Teach your child how to manage big emotions. Strategies can include deep breathing exercises (like placing a stuffed animal on their belly), physical activity, or taking a break.
Model good behavior: Share your own feelings and how you manage them to provide a healthy example. For example, "I'm feeling frustrated because I can't find my keys. I'm going to take a few deep breaths".
