જિંદગી હંમેશ જિવાતી નથી.

નાવ તો વ્હેતી થઇ વર્ષો થયાં,
ને નજરથી દૂર પણ થાતી નથી.

કોણ ઉશ્કેરે છે અંદરથી અહીં,
કેમ લીધી વાત મુકાતી નથી ?

જાતથી જુદું થવાતું હોય તો,
પંડની પીડાય પરખાતી નથી.

તીર તાકીને જ છોડ્યું છે છતાં,
માછલી કેમેય વીંધાતી નથી.
