Seminar on “Financial Market Awareness”

Bhagwan Mahavir College of Computer Application organised a seminar on “Financial Market Awareness” today for the Second Year (SY) and Third Year (TY) students.

The session aimed to enhance students’ understanding of financial markets, investment awareness, financial planning, and responsible financial decision-making. The seminar also focused on various forms of cyber fraud and financial scams, highlighting the risks associated with digital financial transactions.

Students were provided with practical guidance on identifying fraudulent activities, adopting preventive measures, and responding appropriately to cyber fraud incidents.

The session was informative and insightful, contributing to the development of financial literacy, cyber awareness, and responsible digital practices among students.

Bhagwan Mahavir College of Computer Application successfully conducted **Day 1** of the **2-Day Workshop on "Planning & Prioritization"** for the First Year students of **B.Sc. Data Science, B.Sc. Cyber Security, and B.Sc. Information Technology**.

The inspiring session was delivered by **Mr. Jignesh Sanghvi**, who guided students through interactive activities on **goal setting, planning, prioritization, time management, positive thinking, and self-development**. Around **40 enthusiastic students** actively participated, making the session engaging, insightful, and impactful.

A heartfelt thank you to our esteemed resource person, the Management, **Principal Dr. Hetal Modi**, **Academic Head Dr. Sneha Patel**, faculty members, and the organizing team for making this workshop a grand success.

*CyberSprint 2026* , a cybersecurity event at Bhagwan Mahavir University in Surat, concluded successfully today after three engaging days. Over 50 participants tackled 7 CTF challenges in cryptography, web exploitation, forensics, and more.

*Event Schedule*
*Day 1 (March 12)* : Workshop from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM on cybersecurity fundamentals, tools, and best practices.

*Day 2 (March 13)* : CTF challenges from 10:00 AM–3:00 PM with real-world scenarios.

*Day 3 (March 14)* : Final CTF from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM, ending with closing ceremony.

Top teams received tailored rewards focused on certificates and TryHackMe premium access.
