Today’s Connection to Courage takeaway. 💭

We started with the courage to be uncomfortable.

But we ended somewhere else.

What if courage begins much earlier?

With knowing what you want.

And more importantly,
with having the courage to accept that you want it.

Because sometimes we already know.

We know we’re tired.
We know we’re avoiding a conversation.
We know we want to be more ourselves.
We know something in a relationship needs to be seen honestly.
We know we’re choosing peace because truth feels harder.

The uncomfortable part isn’t always doing something.

Sometimes it’s simply admitting the truth to ourselves.

And once we stop fighting what we already know,
the next step often becomes a little clearer.

Clarity takes courage.
Acceptance takes courage.
And sometimes, that’s where change begins.💛

— A little thought from today’s Connection.

FRIENDS & PHASES 💛

Somewhere between childhood, school, college and now, we found ourselves meeting people we hadn’t thought about in years.

There were silly memories. Hard seasons. Mischief. Lessons. People who stayed. People who left. Friendships that grew with us, and some that simply belonged to a particular phase.

Some remembered the people.
Some remembered the moments.
Some realised they had been their own best friend all along.

And perhaps that’s what friendship teaches us — not everyone is meant to stay, but everyone leaves something behind.

A memory. A lesson. A version of us.

It was a very sweet afternoon of looking back, laughing, remembering and realising…

we may walk through different phases with different people, but we are never really alone. 💛

At Mom Tribe, we don’t always gather to learn something new.

Sometimes, we gather simply to remember what we’ve forgotten—
how to slow down, breathe deeply, and feel connected again. 🤍

Pause. Look Up.

Ever since Musafir Café became everyone’s favourite conversation, we found ourselves smiling at one thought...

“Who’s the Sudha and who’s the Preeti between us?”

The funny thing is... we couldn’t answer.

Some days, one of us is making lists, worrying about timelines and asking,

“Will this actually help parents?”

The other is wondering,

“Will they leave feeling lighter?”

And on other days... we switch places.

Because people see the workshops.

They don’t see the conversations before they begin.
Or the ones long after everyone has gone home.

“Should we change this activity?”

“Did that mom feel seen today?”

“Let’s make next month even better.”

Just two women.
Different minds.
One purpose.

Helping parents and children find their way back to each other. 🤍

P.S. We used AI to recreate these moments—not because they happened exactly this way, but because they capture conversations we have all the time. Sometimes, AI can illustrate a feeling that a camera never got to witness.

WHY SHOULD WE PAUSE... AND LOOK UP? ☁️

Most of our days are spent looking down.

At our phones.
At our laptops.
At laundry baskets.
At grocery lists.
At little hands that need us.

Somewhere along the way, we forget to look up.

Yet, something as simple as watching the sky can be surprisingly powerful. Research shows that spending even a few quiet moments under open skies or in nature can calm our nervous system, ease mental fatigue, lift our mood, and gently bring us back to the present.

Maybe that’s because the sky asks nothing of us.

It doesn’t need us to finish a task.
Reply to a message.
Solve a problem.
Or be anything other than exactly who we are.

It simply reminds us to pause.

To breathe a little deeper.
To notice a little more.
To remember that life is bigger than today’s to-do list.

This month at Mom Tribe, we’re setting aside just one hour to do exactly that.

No agenda.
No pressure.
Just a little space to pause, look up, and be.

p.s. :- The sky has never been in a hurry. Maybe, for one evening, we don’t have to be either.

Some questions don’t have one right answer.

This month, we began Year 4 with Connection to Beginnings.

One question sparked a room full of completely different answers.

And that was the reminder.

Connection isn’t one thing.
It isn’t one person.
It isn’t one place.

For each of us, it begins somewhere different.

The other thought that stayed with us was simple:

Maybe life isn’t always about choosing one thing over another.

Sometimes the most beautiful possibilities appear when we stop thinking in either/or and start believing in and.

More joy and more peace.
More adventure and more rest.
More motherhood and more self.

Every month, we leave our circles with a few thoughts that stay long after the evening ends.

This was one of them. 🌿

Some days motherhood feels magical.
Some days it feels like emotional negotiations and surviving on very little sleep.

But somewhere in between all the chaos, moms quietly become superheroes in pajamas. 🤍

Happy Mother’s Day to every woman doing a million invisible things with so much love.
