DRISHTI is back with its flagship event, MAKERSPACE 6.0 which is exclusively conducted for enthusiastic first year minds. This event will test your technical knowledge and problem solving skills.

You will encounter an interesting and challenging problem statement which has to be completed within the given time span. Mentors will be allotted to each team. They will constantly guide you throughout the duration of your project.

Interviews are to be held on *15th to 17th June, 2022*.

Event will commence on *19th June 2022*.

Again, it goes unwritten that, *THE EVENT IS NOT BRANCH SPECIFIC, IT IS OPEN FOR ALL BRANCHES.*

Hey everyone!!!!
Robotics has always been fascinating and widely explored field all over the globe which has progressed by leaps and bounds in the past decade. ABU ROBOCON is one of the dream competitions that students interested in robotics aspire to be part of.

Team DRISHTI has been participating in ABU ROBOCON since 2006. We'll be competing in the ROBOCON 2022 again this year.

The result of round 1 was released on 5th March 2022, We had scored 97 out of 100. The second round's results were announced on May 15, 2022. We are glad to inform you that Team DRISHTI got 76 out of 100 in stage 2, bringing our total score to 83 out of 100, making us one of 45 teams to qualify for stage 3. We are looking forward to performing better in the upcoming rounds.

Stage 2 Result-Robocon 2022.pdf

The ROBOFEST 2.0 competition organized by GUJCOST has become very popular amongst the STEM education institutes of the state to promote innovation and intelligence among young minds and is an exciting way of learning science at a more practical level.
Among the 8 categories of robots, Team Drishti has participated in the rover category which is an All-Terrain Vehicle that is designed to traverse across rough terrains and is equipped with a manipulator, soil collection, and sampling module, navigation camera, and sensors for different tasks.
It was conducted in 3 rounds: the Ideation report, the Proof of Concept, and the real Rover prototype. Team Rover cleared all the stages and has been selected as the joint prize winner of the Rover category in Robofest 2.0.
The performance of our rovers has been improving over the years and we are working to improve it every day.
Here, you can see a glimpse of our final prototype of the rover.

The long journey of Innovation, ideas and commitment has yet again reached another milestone. During these tough times we have always thrived to keep the show going on, no matter what difficulties we have faced. We believe that one can never achieve new heights till one pushes his limits beyond. But what enhances the beauty of the achievements is self-belief and perseverance with pure hardwork.

Today, after many magnificent and insightful events, we managed to complete 20 years of DRISHTI, marking another year of success.

A place where people gather with a resolute vision as well as an unswerving mission to work hard and surpass the goals set every year!

20 years ago, a handful students from our college gathered, discussed and worked tirelessly to establish this place and now we all have come to cherish and experience the serendipity of this club.

Our alumni and seniors have proved to be substantial precedents for us and made us believe that hard work will never go to waste. So, it is now in our hands to maintain and carry forward the legacy of this club and surpass all the benchmarks that have been set by them. We endeavor to work hard, aspire and aim beyond anyone's imagination and give in our 100% to achieve our newfound goals.

Every year we celebrate this sublime day, 28th April as DRISHTI DAY. This day represents the hardwork and perseverance of each and every member, the people who helped achieve what we aspires, adorning this club with yet another star.

Exemplary patience, courage and efficient time management skills were on display by the members of 20 teams which participated in the first offline event of DRISHTI - "THE GRAND ROBOPRIX-2K22" in order to make their own bots.
We appreciate the efforts made by all the teams who participated and made the event a success. Also, we congratulate each team for their achivements while building bots and till the completion of the event.
We are excited to announce the winning teams of QUICK SILVER competition.

Have you guys enjoyed the techno managerial fest MINDBEND?? Ever thought of building a robot after witnessing competitions like robocombat and full throttle??

Well, Team DRISHTI is back with its first offline event GRP “THE GRAND ROBOPRIX” for freshers. It is a line follower robot-building competition. We will be conducting one day workshop which would be a guidance road map for building the robot.

Now a question might arise how can you proceed further without any guidance?? No worries at all guys, we will be continuously mentoring and assisting you during your preparation phase. You guys will be working at the DRISHTI Lab during this manufacturing duration.

After completion, there would be a competition named Quick Silver where all your hard work and dedication would be tested. A special arena would be designed for the line follower robots. The bot that finishes the track in the minimum possible time and by following all the protocols would be declared as the winner.

19th to 22nd April: - Preparation Phase of robot
23rd and 24th April: - QuickSilver Competition

Team DRISHTI is here with an exciting event TECHNOVATION. In this two-phase event, We will deliver and introduce you to interesting and useful concepts in a series of workshops. These workshops would cover concepts from various domains. You will be introduced to some new software that will help you to apply the learned concepts.

The second phase of TECHNOVATION is based on brainstorming and the application of concepts covered earlier. You will apply your knowledge for solving challenging problem statements.

Throughout the competition, you will be guided by a team of mentors in case of any issues or queries.

The event is open for all branches.

A total of 71 teams has qualified for the competition across the nation. This is a proud moment for Team DRISHTI as well our college SVNIT.
