Spaces that speak business — 2nd Year Commercial Design Jury

The students of the Interior Design Department explored practical learning through the subject IMT (Interior Material Technology) by creating a variety of detailed working models that demonstrated the application of interior materials in design.

The models prepared by the students included sliding doors and windows, mud partition walls, louvered windows, glass partitions, and several other material-based design elements, reflecting both technical understanding and creative ex*****on.

This hands-on academic exercise was carried out under the valuable guidance of Miss Nidhi Navdivala, who provided continuous support and expert direction throughout the project. Her mentorship helped students understand the properties, uses, and construction techniques of different interior materials in a practical manner.

Through this subject, students gained meaningful exposure to material technology, enabling them to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world interior design applications.
