Vidhyadeep Institute of Nursing college organized Lamp Lighting & Oath taking ceremony for the 7th Batch B.Sc. Nursing , 7th Batch GNM & 8th Batch ANM students on 24-01-2024, 11:00 AM at Seminar Hall, Vidhyadeep Campus, Anita (KIM), Surat with the guidance of Mr. Pravin Prajapati Principal
of Vidhyadeep Institute of Nursing.
The tradition of lamp lighting ceremony serves as an icon and inspiration in nursing profession from Florence Nightingale who is known as the founder of modern nursing. The lamp lighting ceremony formally declares the student's entry into the nursing profession.
Ceremony started with Holy Tilak welcome all faculty members and Guest, Shri Jayntibhai Patel, President of Vidhyadeep University were the chief guest of the functions and Shri Hirenbhai Patel Vice President of Vidhyadeep University graced this occasion as guest of honor. The dignitaries inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp and invoked the divine blessing. 55 B.Sc. Nursing students, 54 GNM & 26 ANM students respectively dedicated themselves to the nursing profession by lighting their lamps followed by the administration of Nightingale's pledge to the students.

Honorable Shree Jayantibhai Patel delivered their valuable insights about the noble profession with their speech and inspired the students. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Rachna Chavda, Assistant Professor. The function ended with the national anthem.

Shri Jayntibhai Patel, Chairman of Vidhyadeep University, Vidhyadeep Charitable Trust & founder of Vidhyadeep Institute of Nursing and Shri Hirenbhai Patel Vice President of Vidhyadeep University graced this occasion as guest of honor, Mr. Mukundbhai Patel, Campus Director, Vidhyadeep University Ms. Dhruvika Jadav Faculty of VIN welcomed the guests. The dignitaries inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp and invoked the divine blessing. Mr. Iqram Patel & Mrs. Nilam Patel, Assistant Professor along with other faculties lighted the Florence Nightingale lamp & transferred the luminosity to the fresher’s students. 41 B.Sc. Nursing students, 54 GNM & 24 ANM students respectively dedicated themselves to the nursing profession by lighting their lamps followed by the administration of Nightingale pledge to the students.
Mrs. Nirmala Millet delivered their valuable insights about the noble profession with their speech and inspired the students. Vice President of Vidhyadeep University, Shri Jayntibhai bhai Patel congratulated the students in his address and wishes them all success in their future endeavors. The ceremony concluded with vote of thanks by Mr. Iqram Patel, Assistant Professor, Medical Surgical Nursing Department. The function ended with the national anthem.

Vidhyadeep University (Vidhyadeep Institute of Nursing, Anita (Kim) has organized the World Health Day on 07-04-2023 (Friday) in the College Seminar Hall.

On the occasion of World Health Day celebration, Vidhyadeep Institute of Nursing department have organized three activities: (1) Quiz Competition (2) Poster Making competition & (3) seminar on the theme of "HEALTH FOR ALL" at Seminar Hall, Vidhyadeep University on the date of 7th April 2023. Inaugural function began with the lamp lighting by dignitaries. The function continued with the welcome address by Mr. Manish Dafda, HOD of CHILD HEALTH NURSING, VDU.
Quiz competition was organized by Ms. Chesta Chauhan, Nursing tutor & Ms. Nayna Vasava, Nursing Tutor of VIN at Seminar Hall. Total 18 students participated in quiz competition. Program was coordinated by Mrs. Nilam Patel, HOD of Community Health Nursing Department, VIN. Total 30 students of VIN and 04 student of Homeopathy have taken part in Poster making competition. The Competition concluded with the evaluator session and declaration of the winner by the Judge. Poster based Exhibition was organized at Seminar Hall at 02:30 PM on the theme of 2023. On this occasion they have organized seminar on theme “Health For All” by Mr. Sanjay Dabhi, Assist. Professor, Govt. College of Nursing, Surat with active participation of around 380 Students. The session were highly appreciated by participants. This seminar conclude with prize distribution of Quiz competition & Poster competition winner and vote of Thanks. Principal and all staff are highly indebted to all those who contributed towards the success of this seminar. Program concluded with certificate distribution and national anthem.
