Construction mein steel select karte waqt sirf diameter dekhna enough nahi hai! ๐Ÿ‘ทโ€โ™‚๏ธ
Reinforcement use karne se pehle diameter, grade, marking, certification aur weight properly verify karna important hai.

Agar bar 12 mm hai, toh Vernier caliper se diameter check kiya ja sakta hai. Saath hi bar par TMT marking, manufacturer identification aur applicable standard/quality marking bhi verify karein.

Steel ka grade bhi structural drawing ke according hona chahiye โ€” jaise Fe 500, Fe 550 ya Fe 550D.

๐Ÿ“ 12 mm bar ka theoretical unit weight approximately 0.89 kg/m hota hai, commonly used formula dยฒ/162 se.

Column mein zyada steel dena hamesha zyada strength ka matlab nahi hota! ๐Ÿ‘ทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Bahut log sochte hain ki agar column mein reinforcement badha denge, toh column automatically aur strong ho jayega. Lekin structural design mein steel percentage ko minimum aur maximum limits ke andar maintain karna bahut important hai.

Column par mainly compression aur tension dono types ke effects aa sakte hain. Isliye reinforcement quantity ko blindly increase ya decrease nahi karna chahiye.

๐Ÿ“Œ IS 456:2000 ke according, reinforced concrete columns mein longitudinal reinforcement ka percentage generally 0.8% se 6% ke range mein specified hai.

๐Ÿ’ก Isliye column design mein sirf โ€œkitna steel?โ€ nahi, balki correct steel percentage + bar arrangement + concrete grade + structural design sab important hain.
