We are proud to share that Mr. Anoop Patel, a T.Y.B.Sc. student of our college, has secured 🥇 First Prize in the Kaavya Pathan Competition held today at Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU).

This Kaavya Pathan Competition was organised in honour of our late Prime Minister, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, whose 101st birth anniversary will be observed on 25th December. Remembering his immense contribution to the nation as a statesman and poet, the event truly reflected his love for literature and expression.

Mr. Anoop Patel’s impressive poetic recitation earned him a Certificate of Excellence along with a cash prize of ₹2000. 🎤📜

This achievement reflects his talent, confidence, and dedication to literature and art. We congratulate Anoop and wish him continued success in all his future endeavors.

Navyug Science College, Surat celebrated nation's 79th Independence Day with pride and patriotism. The programme was graced by our Guest of Honour – our very own Principal Dr. Ashwinbhai S. Patel Sir, whose inspiring leadership has been a guiding light for our institution.

This celebration was especially memorable as it marks Sir’s last Independence Day as Principal before his superannuation at the end of this academic term. His address to the gathering was both heartfelt and motivating, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.

The day was filled with vibrant performances – our talented students presented patriotic dances, while the NCC cadets showcased impressive drills, adding grandeur to the occasion. The flag hoisting, cultural events, and unity in spirit truly reflected the essence of freedom.

We salute the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and express our deepest gratitude to Dr. Ashwinbhai S. Patel Sir for his unwavering dedication to our college.

The college successfully organized the Competition on Innovative Experiments (CPEx)-2025 on 21st January 2025 for the South Gujarat Cluster Level in collaboration with the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) RC-7, Gujarat.

A total of 15 teams consisting of undergraduate students presented their creativity and brilliance through working models and computational projects. The event was graced by esteemed judges, Prof. Anil Bhatt (former Head, Physics Department, Navyug Science College, Surat) and Dr. Niket Shashtri (Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology, Surat). We were also honored by the presence of Prof. Viresh Thakkar (Sir P.T. Sarvajanik College), who inspired the participants with his encouraging words and presented them with a book as a memento to acknowledge their efforts.

Congratulations to all the selected students for their exceptional efforts, and we extend our best wishes for their upcoming presentations at the State-level competition!

We are delighted to share the remarkable achievement of Mr. Vasu A. Passwala, an M.Sc. graduate from our college, who has secured 3 Gold Medals in the M.Sc.(Chemistry) course during the University exams conducted by Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU). 🏅🏅🏅

Mr. Passwala’s dedication and academic excellence have brought immense pride to our institution. Adding to this achievement, he has now joined the Chemistry Department of Navyug Science College as an adhoc lecturer starting this academic year.

✨ Highlights of NCLC-2024: National Conference on Liquid Crystals✨

Our college proudly hosted the National Conference on Liquid Crystals (NCLC-2024) from 20th to 22nd December 2024, in collaboration with the Indian Liquid Crystal Society.

This prestigious event, co-sponsored by Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF/NSERB) and The Royal Society of Chemistry, brought together 143 participants, including 25 eminent scientists from across India, who shared groundbreaking work in the fascinating field of Liquid Crystals.

We were also honored by the presence of esteemed researchers from the USA and France, adding an international dimension to the conference.
