Departmental Activity Update

The team discussed the importance of pre-planning for implant placements, emphasizing that all cases should be carefully evaluated and mapped out in advance.

It was agreed that the designated teacher/s incharge for implant cases in a given month must be kept informed and involved throughout the process to ensure proper guidance and patient safety.
All implant surgery related equipment must be thoroughly checked a day prior.

It was asserted that apart from planned sizes, alternate implant sizes must be kept ready as well

Additionally, a brief update on the Tea Club highlighted its value in fostering informal peer interactions, with suggestions to occasionally align it with clinical discussions.
