We invited Prof.Dr.I.Sorna Mariammal, M.D(S) madam [Joint Director, Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy Department (Retd)] to deliver her vast knowledge and experience in Medical Geology and Geo-chemistry on 17/06/2019. She explained the origin and availability of metals and minerals mentioned in Gunapadam – Thathu & Jeevam and also exhibited various metals and minerals to the students. It is very useful and new experience to our students. I (Principal) and on behalf of our management of Velumailu Siddha Medical College and Hospital express our sincere thanks to Prof. Dr.I.Sorna Mariammal madam in this regard.

#சமத்துவ பொங்கல் # Pongal celebrations 🎉 went up with traditional manner organised by students of Velumailu Siddha Medical College, Sriperumbudur along with the faculty members inaugurated by the Principal Prof. Dr.K.Balagurusamy Sir and Administrative officer Thiru.Muthuperumal sir. வருகின்ற 26.12. 2018- அன்று சித்த மருத்துவ திருநாள் கொண்டாடப் படுவதை முன்னிட்டு 23.12.2018 அன்று காலை 7.00 மணியளவில் சென்னை பெசன்ட் நகர் கடற்கரையில் சித்த மருத்துவ விழிப்புணர்வு ஓட்டம் (Run For Siddha) நடைபெற உள்ளது என்பதை பெருமகிழ்வுடன் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கின்றோம்.

சித்த மருத்துவர்கள், சித்த மருத்துவe மாணவர்கள், சித்த மருத்துவ ஆர்வலர்கள் மற்றும் பொதுமக்கள் அனைவரும் பெருவாரியாக கலந்து கொண்டு சித்த மருத்துவ விழிப்புணர்வை அனைவரும் அறிய பங்காற்ற வேண்டுமாய் கேட்டுக் கொள்கின்றோம்.

Under the constant guidance from Ministry of AYUSH is all set to organise a ‘Run for Siddha’ on Sunday (23/12/2018) at Beseant Nagar Beach, Chennai. Time :7:00 AM

The run will be organizes not only encourage the practitioners and students of Siddha but will also spread awareness in the society about the strengths of Siddha system of medicine.
