Visit of Worthy Chief Education Officer Kulgam
The Worthy Chief Education Officer Kulgam, Shri Abdul Gani Bhat, paid an academic and supervisory visit to Govt. Middle School Nagam, D.H. Pora. During the visit, the officer interacted with the learners of classes 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th and 8th and assessed their academic performance, learning outcomes and classroom participation.
The Worthy CEO emphasized the importance of moral, objective-based and competency-oriented learning to enable students to meet future challenges effectively. He advised the students to work with dedication and discipline in order to attain higher levels of growth, development and academic excellence.
During the interaction, the students responded confidently to various questions and actively participated in the academic discussions. The CEO appreciated the efforts being made by the teaching staff in maintaining an effective teaching-learning environment in the institution.
The Worthy Officer also stressed upon the importance of maintaining and monitoring students’ diaries regularly as a sign of accountability, discipline and parental coordination. He highlighted the vital role of teachers in shaping the character, competence and future of the learners through sincere classroom engagement and innovative pedagogical practices.
It was observed during the visit that all teachers were actively engaged in classroom teaching and academic activities. The classroom environment reflected commitment towards quality education and learner participation.
The PM POSHAN Programme was also inspected during the visit. The arrangements, quality measures and maintenance related to the programme were found satisfactory, and positive remarks were recorded by the Worthy CEO.
The visiting officer further took note of certain infrastructural deficiencies and dearths in the institution and assured that the matter would be highlighted before the concerned authorities for necessary consideration and improvement.
The staff and students of GMS Nagam expressed gratitude to the Worthy Chief Education Officer for his valuable guidance, motivational interaction and constructive observations aimed at strengthening the academic standards of the institution.
