For the past **36 years,MercyBeacon International Foundation For Healthcare & Education** has quietly continued its mission of compassion under the patronage of M***i Syed Ahmad Bukhari Al-Qasmi**. What many people may not know is that the entire effort is managed by **just a few close friends and relatives** who share a common belief that dignity and care must reach those who need it the most.
Every family we assist is **identified and verified beforehand**. We make sure the food kits reach the **most deserving and often the newest families facing hardship in our society**, people who might otherwise remain unseen.
In the last few years, especially **after the abrogation of Article 370**, we have taken it upon ourselves to continue leading and coordinating this effort with the same spirit of service and responsibility.
We remain **deeply grateful to everyone who supports and encourages this initiative**, because your belief in the cause keeps this mission alive.
At the same time, we would like to **reiterate an important principle**:
**We do not accept donations directly.**
Our role is simple and transparent — we **connect those who wish to help with verified families who genuinely need support**. We merely act as a **point of contact (POC)**, ensuring that assistance reaches the right hands with dignity and accountability.
MercyBeacon has always been about **trust, compassion, and community**. Together, even a small group can make a meaningful difference. Hidayat Bukhari Gazala Taha Bukhari

A Beacon of Care and Education. Guided by Mercy. Driven by Responsibility.
MercyBeacon International Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to serving humanity with compassion, integrity, and responsibility, supporting well-being through care and education.
Two extremely dangerous U-turns are putting lives at serious risk every single day:
📍 Near Gurudwara Shalteng
A deadly U-turn with no signage, no traffic lights, no warnings. Vehicles abruptly turn, confusion peaks, and accidents are waiting to happen.
📍 Parimpora Bypass near Unani Hospital
Another nightmare spot where people illegally take U-turns and drive on the WRONG SIDE of the road, risking head-on collisions with unsuspecting drivers.
⚠️ Let this be clear:
Driving on the wrong side is illegal under Indian Motor Vehicle laws. It is a punishable offence, not a shortcut. One reckless move can cost multiple innocent lives—families shattered in seconds.
❌ No signage
✅ High risk of fatal accidents

🌱 An Important Update from Our Foundation 🌱
With deep respect for our journey and gratitude for the trust placed in us over the years, we are sharing an important transition.
Our organization, formerly operating under Shams Ul Huda Educational and Research Trust, is now moving forward as MercyBeacon International Foundation.
This change reflects growth, not departure. As our work expanded in scale, reach, and responsibility, it became important to adopt a name that is globally inclusive, mission-aligned, and clearly representative of our long-term vision-one that speaks to care, education, and humanitarian responsibility without cultural or geographic limitation.
The values remain unchanged.
The commitment remains the same.
Only the name has evolved to better reflect who we serve today and who we aim to reach tomorrow.
We remain deeply grateful to every supporter, volunteer, and family who has been part of our journey. Your trust is the foundation upon which MercyBeacon continues to stand.
