An anonymous girl form 2005-2006 batch at Nowshera. M-Tech CSE.
"There are so many memories associated with Hussaini Sir's classes. Cannot list all but I just want to share one.
It was Valentine's day and some random guy made a paper plane and he wrote some valentine message on it. He flew it in Sir's direction. Hussaini Sir was facing the blackboard. The plane hit his head. He read "happy Valentine's day Sir" Angry Hussaini Sir ignored and continued his lecture. After some time a guy shouted "Happy Valentine's Day Sirrrrrrrrr".
Hussaini Sir was so angry and he said "yim g*i watal shuìr, khabar kamov khaandanow peth aamit. Na paran paanì, na din baakiyan parni... and he continued abusing such kids... the physics lecture that he was interrupted for was continued next day.
That was 14th Feb 2005
And we used to carry radios with us whenever there was India-Pak cricket match. And we ised5to shout like "chakkaaaaaaa" "aray chokaaaaa" "oh sh*t...out hogaya yaar" and our beloved Husi Sir used to be like 😠
He was great!"

Srinagar Boy makes Kashmir proud, wins World Debate Championship
The people of Kashmir have hardly had a reason to smile in recent times. Faced with curfews, shutdowns and restrictions on public life, the north Indian state has literally come to a standstill. But despite the turmoil, an twenty-year-old boy from the state, Jibran Gulzar, battled all odds and went on to claim the international title at the World Debating Championship. Jibran, who hails from Srinagar, piped and won over the three world champion teams to the title at the just-concluded event in Netherlands, becoming the first debater from the Valley and Asia to achieve such a feat, according to a report in The Hindu.
He has been awarded a trip to the USA and a place in the Harvard Union Championship in which he is going to debate ag*inst the prestigious "Harvard University" debate team.
The Harvard College Debating Union is one of Harvard University's two competitive debate organizations. As the winner of the most American Parliamentary Debate Association National Championships of any college (including in 2012, 2013, and 2015), the 2013 North American Champions, the 2009, 2010 and 2015 finalists at the World Universities Debating Championship, and the 2014 World Champions, the team is consistently one of the most successful debate organizations in the world.
His father, Gulzar Ahmad, is an government employee and there had been no lack of encouragement from him as he has supported his all interest's. In an earlier interview to PTI, Jibran had revealed that his journey started in 2014 when he joined the educational institution in Chandigarh where he caught an interest of debating. The state of Jammu and Kashmir has seen many people in all regions representing India and there have been some who even made it big.
Mehrajuddin Wadoo, Parveez Rasool, Hashim Mansoor, Zaira Wasim, Tajamul Islam, Mehroosh Manzoor Paul and Aqsa Fareed Khan and now, Jibran. "Our state is not known to debating and oratory but I, along with other youth like me, are going to take it to new heights," vowed the young achiever. Jibran's path to fulfilling his dream is going to be full of hardships, but he has already proven he has what it takes to make the impossible, possible.
The twenty-year old in an interview said that he was proud of the win and wants to take his state to new heights. He added, “I learned how to think critically, how to develop arguments, how to speak clearly, and how to research. Everything I do – teaching, writing, and advocacy – uses these skills.. I am very happy to win this championship. I had been practicing for this since last one year. It was difficult, but I still won the fight and yet more has to come his way as he is going to debate ag*inst the prestigious Harvard Debating Union team."
With a growing pile of medals and winner's, and examples of good leader's of every field to admire, Kashmir has every right to be proud.
