Attention students
The students of 4th semester have been asked by the coordinator MERC, in a notification issued on Friday to deposit a fee of Rs 4,500 immediately in the departmental account given on that notification. But the students are claiming that there have been no departmental tours since they have joined the department back in 2016 and then for what purpose the department was making them hell bent to pay this amount. Students are demanding that either there should be provided with a tour or this amount should be waived-off immediately. Insiders said that several students have even decided to take up this issue with the Governor and Chief Minister as they think that the out-going Vice-Chancellor failed to resolve this issue.

Dear Friends,
It is sheer injustice with the students of 3rd semester (Main & Supplementary batch) as they are not being taken to Press Council of India's (PCI) Golden Jubilee Celebration scheduled for 16th November 2017 in New Delhi while as six students from Ist semester (Freshers) who joined the department only three months back were finalized for this visit.
Insiders confirmed that students who were selected for the confrence are the close aides of Coordinator MERC. Even though no exams have been conducted for their selection.
Students of 3rd Semester alleged that the department was resorting to nepotism.
And this time, the department has colossal excuse for underestimating the students of 3rd Semester by saying that ‘they are busy with exams’. It is unbelievable. Seriously. How can be our department so non-serious regarding 3rd Semester students?
Friends, it is the high time for we people to wake up from deep slumber and get united to bring some change to the department’s hidden strategies.
