Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi reviews Muharram Preparedness
Hon’ble MLA Budgam Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi took meeting regarding the arrangements for the holy month of Muharram, MLA Budgam Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi stressed the need for ensuring all necessary facilities and developmental works in areas well in time.
He emphasized that the administration must take all required measures not only for the first ten days of Muharram, but also for those areas where mourning processions and religious gatherings continue after the 10th of Muharram.
The MLA stated that there should be no inconvenience faced by the public during the holy days and directed the concerned departments to work in close coordination to ensure uninterrupted essential services. He called for timely completion of all pending developmental works, proper sanitation, availability of drinking water, electricity, medical facilities, traffic management, and road maintenance in all concerned areas.
Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi further said that Muharram is a period of great religious significance and the administration must ensure that devotees and mourners are provided every possible support and facility. He urged all departments to remain active on the ground and respond promptly to public issues and grievances.
He also appealed to the public to maintain peace, discipline, and communal harmony during the observance of Muharram.
