*GHSS Zadibal Shines Bright in JKBOSE Examinations*
*Secures top 3 positions in Commerce, 4 in Science*
*Srinagar*: The Government Girls Higher Secondary School Zadibal has once again demonstrated academic excellence by securing top seven positions in the Class 12th Board Examinations, the results of which were announced today by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE).
With the overall pass percentage of around 92 percent, the students from both Commerce and Science streams dominated the toppers' list, with an impressive number of students achieving distinctions and outstanding grades across key subjects.
In the Science stream, standout performers included top scorers who excelled in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology, reflecting the school's rigorous curriculum and focus on conceptual understanding.
In the Commerce Stream, the students shone in Business Studies, Entrepreneurship, Accountancy and Economics with several students securing perfect scores and distinctions that placed them among the Board's top rank holders.
Muneeza Hakeem, a dedicated and bright student of GHSS Zadibal, emerged as the 2nd position holder in the Stream of Commerce. Followed by Seerat Shabir and Bushra Islam who secured 4th and 5th positions respectively.
Similarly, in Science Stream, the standout performers included top scorers who excelled in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
Ummi Rubbab secured the 6th position in the Stream of Science, followed by Sheikh Maryam who emerged as the 9th rank holder in the examinations. Besides, Aayat Ehsan and Mehvish Farooq earned 10th positions respectively, in the said examinations.
Moreover, students in the Arts stream achieved several distinctions and brought good repute to the school.
In the Secondary Examination results, the students of GHSS Zadibal earned accolades by securing distinctions, reflecting their dedication and hard work. Their performance has brought immense pride to the entire school community.
Underscoring the institution's commitment to holistic student development, Principal GHSS Zadibal, Mr. Mohammad Shafi Lone, lauded the staff and students for the commendable accomplishments.
"This commendable accomplishment is the outcome of coordinated efforts of our philanthropist teachers, students and parents," he said, resolving to achieve many more milestones in future.

*Schools in Zone Hawal Review Post-PARAKH Findings, Stress Learning Improvement*
Srinagar, January 13, 2026 – In a proactive step to translate national educational insights into actionable improvements at the grassroots level, Chief Education Officer Srinagar, Mr. Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Bhat, today spearheaded a highly impactful one-day workshop on the Post-PARAKH Rashtriya Sarvekshan Report. The event was organised under the guidance of Ms Anjum Raja,DNO PARAKH .It was held for Heads of Institutions (HOIs) and educators from Zone Hawal, underscored a renewed commitment to elevating student learning outcomes in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The workshop brought together a distinguished gathering, including Ms. Syed Ishrat Latief, Principal BHSS Zadibal and Zonal Education Officer Hawal; Mr. Mohammad Shafi Lone, Principal GHSS Zadibal; Ms. Aaliya Shafi, District Resource Person; Mr. Syed Tanveer and Mr. Mohammad Tahseen , Dr. Tauseef from the Zonal team along with HOIs and teachers from both government and private schools across Zone Hawal.
Ms. Syed Ishrat Latief extended a warm welcome to all participants and provided a concise yet insightful overview of the Post-PARAKH Rashtriya Sarvekshan Report. She highlighted the critical role of educators and school administrators in addressing learning gaps identified in the national survey, emphasizing how targeted interventions can significantly enhance student competencies in foundational, preparatory, and middle stages.
Mr. Mohammad Shafi Lone delivered an inspiring address, stressing the importance of self-motivation among educators. He urged teachers to continually adapt and innovate their teaching pedagogies to meet the diverse needs of students. He shared practical examples of engaging activities designed to make learning more effective and student-centered.
Ms. Aaliya Shafi offered an in-depth exploration of the PARAKH dashboard—a powerful digital tool for analyzing assessment data—and introduced innovative pedagogical methods to boost learning levels. Through a detailed presentation, she demonstrated the effective integration of modern teaching-learning materials and strategies into daily classroom routines, equipping participants with practical tools to foster competency-based education.
Mr. Syed Tanveer provided a comprehensive roadmap for Zone Hawal, outlining how the zone plans to implement new educational practices derived from the PARAKH findings. His session focused on collaborative strategies, data-driven decision-making, and sustained efforts to bridge identified learning deficiencies.
The event concluded with interactive discussions, reinforcing a collective resolve to implement remedial measures and innovative practices that align with national goals for holistic student development.

During the event, a beautifully crafted memento of appreciation was presented to her as a token of gratitude for her remarkable contribution to the school. All staff members were in attendance, making the occasion truly special with their collective appreciation and fond memories shared about her service.
