On April 29 and April 30, 2019 National Koshiki Championship 2019 was organised in Fareedabad, Haryana in which 6 students of MLHS participated. Alhamdulillah, team MLHS bagged 1 Gold, 3 Silver and 1 Bronze medals in the said Championship.

Seerat Conference and Naat Competition was organised today by MLHS in the school premises in which students of classes 2nd to 8th participated. Qurain Showkat of 5th Class secured the 1st prize, Daniya Showkat of Class 3rd got the 2nd prize, Haseeb Ahmad of 7th Class secured the 3rd prize, Arees Ayoub of Class 8th and Mohammad Affan of class 2nd got the consolation prizes in the Seerat Conference. In Naat Competition, Mehran Riyaz, Aisha Afroz and Rutba Riyaz of classes 6th, 3rd and 6th respectively got First three prizes. Barira Javaid (7th) and Faiqa Ayoub (6th) got the consolation prizes in the Naat Competition. In the end, the Administrator and the Principal of the school congratulated and awarded the students for participating in the programmes.

Different activities and programmes related to Environment were conducted by the Eco Club of MLHS during the morning assembly on April 9, 2019 to inculcate in the minds of the students "The importance of green wealth and its preservation"

CONGRATULATIONS TO TEAM
MOTHERLAND.
On Friday, the 29th of March 2019 "1st DISTRICT SRINAGAR SELF DEFENCE & COMBAT SPORTS CHAMPIONSHIP 2019" was organised by District Srinagar Self Defence & Combat Sports Association at Islamia College of Science & Commerce. In the Championship 135 students from different schools participated.
The CHAMPIONS of Motherland High School won 23 medals - 7 Gold, 6 Silver and 10 Bronze and thus, emerged as WINNERS of the Championship in Boys Category.

With profound grief, the Principal along with all the staff of Motherland High School, Kaka Mohalla, Khawaja Bazar, Nowhatta, Srinagar do express their heartfelt condolences to Administrator of the school and her whole family members on the sad demise of her dear mother. May Almighty Allah rest her departed soul in peace in Jannat Ul Firdous and give patience to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
