Mornings & Days: Calls for Timely Revision of School Hours

With colder mornings and shorter daylight hours, the Jammu & Kashmir General Line Teachers Forum (JKGLTF) urges the School Education Department to review the existing 9:30 AM school timing.

Reaching schools at 9:30 AM is becoming difficult for students and staff, particularly those travelling from distant and far-flung areas.

JKGLTF requests the authorities to consider a seasonal adjustment in school timings for the convenience, safety and well-being of students, teachers and parents.
