از آمریکا می ترسید؟
من و آقاى هاشمى و يك نفر ديگر -كه نمى‌خواهم اسم بياورم- از تهران به قم خدمت امام رفتيم تا بپرسيم بالاخره اين جاسوسان را چه كار كنيم؛ بمانند، يا نگه‌شان نداريم؛ به خصوص كه در دولت موقت هم جنجال عجيبى بود كه ما اينها را چه كار كنيم!
وقتى كه خدمت امام رسيديم و دوستان وضعيت را شرح دادند و گفتند مثلاً راديوها اين‌طور مى‌گويند؛ امريكا اين‌طور مى‌گويد؛ مسئولان دولتى اين‌طور مى‌گويند؛ ايشان تأملى كردند و سپس با طرح يك سؤال واقعى پرسيدند: «از امريكا مى‌ترسيد؟»؛ گفتيم نه؛ گفتند پس نگه‌شان داريد!
بله، آدم احساس می‌كرد كه اين مرد خودش از اين شُكوه ظاهرى و مادى و اين اقتدار و امپراتورى مجهز به همه چيز، حقيقتاً ترسى ندارد. نترسيدن او و به چيزى نگرفتن اقتدار مادى دشمن، ناشى از اقتدار شخصى و هوشمندانۀ او بود. نترسيدن هوشمندانه، غير از نترسيدن ابلهانه و خواب‌آلوده است؛ مثلاً يك بچه هم از يك آدم قوى يا يك حيوان خطرناك نمى‌ترسد؛ اما آدم قوى هم نمى‌ترسد؛ منتها انسانها و مجموعه‌ها در قوّت خودشان دچار اشتباه مى‌شوند و قوّتهايى را نمى‌بينند.

Iranian youth are totally devoted to the Truth; they adore God while their hearts are pure and full of light.


در شبهاى احياء ماه رمضان امسال و در مراسم گوناگون دعا و تضرع، جوانانى از قشرهاى مختلف و با ظواهر گوناگون شركت كرده بودند؛ كه اگر يك انسان سطحى و ظاهربين، آن جوان را با آن لباس مشاهده كند، خيال مى‌كند او اصلاً خدا را نمى‌شناسد؛ نه، اين‌طور نيست.
