Congratulations on Affiliation for Academic Session 2026–27
I am delighted to share that all private schools in Jammu & Kashmir have been granted affiliation by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education for the academic session 2026–27, as well as for previous years.
This is a significant milestone for the entire education community. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all schools, parents, and students on this remarkable achievement.
The credit for this accomplishment goes to the Hon’ble Minister of Education, Sakeena Itoo. I would like to personally express my sincere gratitude to her on behalf of the Jammu & Kashmir Unaided Private School Association (JKUPSA) for this tremendous contribution to the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
This step will undoubtedly strengthen the educational framework and provide stability and confidence to all stakeholders.

School, College's to remain closed today 19-9-18 in Srinagar
Srinagar: All schools and colleges will remain closed in Srinagar today in view of Muharram processions, said an official.
He said the authorities have decided to close schools and colleges in Srinagar.
