Looking back at where the country began and imagining where it could be a hundred years later, they have expressed their ideas through scenes of everyday life, science, education, the environment, technology and national pride. Each artwork reflects a different perspective, but together they tell one story of a nation that continues to grow with every generation.

The Green Valley Educational Institute ground has been selected as one of the primary venues as NIT Srinagar officially rolls out the schedule for the All India Inter Staff & Faculty Cricket Tournament 2026-27. The tournament brings together faculty and staff squads from over two dozen national institutes, all competing in an intensive league format across the city. To accommodate the heavy lineup of opening fixtures, matches will run concurrently at Green Valley, Islamia College, Kashmir University, and the host campus. With eight distinct pools and only the top team from each group advancing to the knockout bracket, the race for the quarter-finals begins immediately.

As part of its commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and prioritising student well-being, Green Valley Educational Institute partnered with the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) under the CBSE-supported Y-SMilES Programme.

Dr. Anurag Kumar and Dr. Naveen Prashar conducted an engaging awareness session for students and teachers of Classes 6–12 on lifestyle-related diseases, with special emphasis on fatty liver disease. In an ongoing activity, currently ILBS team is conducting FibroScan screenings, health assessments and measurement of key health indicator among students.

As a token of appreciation, the ILBS team presented certificate to School Manager Mr. Ishtiyaq Wani and Nodal Officer Ms. Tabina for their support in successfully facilitating the programme.
