The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit in an open field of Govt.PS Ahanger mohallaPotushai(Lolab) on August 15, 2025, where large number of students gathered to mark the occasion.
The event began with the flag 🇳🇪 hositing ceremony and followed by the singing of the National Anthem, led by the Head Teacher Mr. NASRULLAH AHMAD AHANGER who adressed the gathering with an inspiring speech highlighting the significance of freedom and the sacrifices made by our forefathers.
After the flag hositing, the students participated in a march parade, showcasing discipline ,unity and patriotism. The celeberation also featured cultured performances, patriotic songs and speeches by students, which added to the festive spirit of the day. 🌹🌹🌹

PS Ahanger mohalla Potushai today proudly organized a Tiranga Rally to celebrate the spirit of patriotism and national pride. Students, teachers, and staff participated enthusiastically, carrying the National Flag and raising slogans that echoed the values of unity, peace, and freedom. The rally aimed to inspire love for the country among the young generation and to honor the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. The event created an atmosphere of joy, pride, and togetherness throughout the school and community. *

PS Ahanger mohalla Potushai observed one minute of silence during the morning assembly as a mark of respect for all those who lost their lives in the despicable act of terrorism in Pahalgam yesterday. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their loved ones. We stand united in the face of this inhumanity.
