*General Secretary JKTA/JKECC, Mr. Hatim Qayoom, has extended his warm greetings to the people on the auspicious and blessed occasion of Shab-e-Qadr.*

Mr. Hatim Qayoom stated that this sacred night, which is described in the Holy Qur’an as being *better than a thousand months*, holds profound spiritual significance for the Muslim Ummah. He emphasized that Shab-e-Qadr provides *a unique opportunity for believers to seek the mercy and forgiveness of Almighty Allah,* strengthen their spiritual devotion, and engage in sincere supplications for the well-being of humanity.

Mr. Hatim Qayoom further observed that the contemporary world is witnessing conflicts and unrest in various regions, *where innocent human lives are being lost and communities are suffering immensely.* On this blessed occasion, he earnestly appealed to the Muslim Ummah to offer *special prayers for those affected by wars and violence across the globe and to pray for lasting peace, stability, and harmony throughout the world.*

He also urged people to remember their relatives, friends, and well-wishers in their prayers and not to overlook those who are facing severe financial hardships and are unable to fulfill their basic necessities of life. Mr. Hatim Qayoom particularly appealed to the people to remember in their prayers those who are suffering from prolonged illnesses and other difficulties, and to extend their support to such individuals and families *through charitable contributions and financial assistance.*

Mr. Hatim Qayoom concluded by expressing hope that this sacred occasion would inspire people to uphold the values of compassion, generosity, unity, and brotherhood, and to *work collectively for the welfare and prosperity of society.*
