There is No Concept of Secret Eating
In North Korea, about 73% of people follow no religion,
13% follow Cheondoism,
12% follow Shamanism,
1.5% follow Buddhism,
and 0.5% belong to other religions.
They have almost no knowledge about Islam.
A Muslim tourist once visited there and became friends with a local citizen. It was the month of Ramadan.
When the local person invited his Muslim friend for a meal, the Muslim replied:
“I am fasting. I cannot eat anything before sunset.”
The Korean man asked:
“What is fasting?”
The Muslim replied:
“Fasting means not eating or drinking from sunrise until sunset.”
The Korean said:
“You can eat secretly.”
The Muslim replied:
“Whether someone sees me or not, Allah is always watching, and He will punish me.”
Hearing this, the Korean man said with surprise:
“So it means that even in your own country, people do not secretly do anything wrong because they fear Allah!
Then in your country there must be:
❌ No prisons
❌ No corruption
❌ No adulteration in food
❌ No dirt or pollution
❌ No black marketing
❌ No abuse of children
❌ No r**e
❌ No traffic violations
❌ No thieves
❌ No hypocrisy
❌ No fake medicines
❌ No fraud
❌ No lies
❌ No crimes
❌ No immoral activities
❌ Only peace everywhere!
Because if people in a Muslim country avoid even secretly eating out of fear of Allah, then surely no crime could exist there!”
After hearing this, the Muslim—and Muslims around the world—fell silent.
Indeed, a thought-provoking message for all Muslims and their rulers.
