*TEACHERS FORUM GRIEVES THE LOSS OF HAJI ABDUL RASHID DAR --- EX ZONAL PRESIDENT MAWAR KUPWARA*

Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum has expressed profound grief & sorrow on the sad demise of Haji Abdul Rashid Dar. The deceased besides being the founder member of the union in the frontier district Kupwara also served as the zonal president of Zone Mawar. In a condolence message the Chairman Mr Mohammad Shafi Rather said that the deceased will be remembered for his resilient attitude & an amiable nature. He said that the moment of death is fixed and it is one such thing which is out of the control of people. Expressing sorrow on the sad demise the provincial president Mr Javaid Ahmad Bhat said that the deceased was a pious & a God fearing man and in his prime earned a good name as a trade union leader & a good teacher. Vice-President of the union from Kupwara, Mr Muneer Ahmad Khan, also expressed grief & sorrow on the sad demise. He said that the entire leadership of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum stands by the grief stricken in this hour of loss and bereavement. May Almighty Allah (s.w.t) grant Jannah to the departed soul and give peace and forbearance to the bereaved to bear the loss (ameen)

Today on 13th of December 2024, a grand function was organised at BMS Pahroo to honour the elevation of Mr. Mohd Shafi Rather to the portfolio of Chairman Jammu And Kashmir Teachers Forum.The parent zone of Rather Sahib feels great joy and pride that such a sincere, honest, vocal and courageous leadership belongs to our zone B.K Pora. The celebratory moment witnessed the the offer of warmest congratulations presented to Mr. Mohd Shafi Rather for his well-earned elevation to this apex rank in the hierarchy of this legendary organisation. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the Rather Sahibs dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
His journey has inspired many, and this new role is a reflection of his determination, leadership, and professionalism. We have no doubt that Rather Sahib will continue to excel, lead with grace, and make a positive impact in this new capacity.

I am immensely grateful to all those who expressed their love and affection towards me on my election to the post of Provincial President jammu Kashmir Teachers forum Kashmir Province.To name a few will be a gross injustice with others.I express my heartful gratitude towards all, friends, acquaintances, members of fourth estate, leadership of the forum of both the provinces from Zonal Presidents to Chairman,Officers, Principal's, Headmasters, Masters, Lecturers, teachers, Ministerial staff, socio-political people who congratulated me on being elected as the provincial President.
It will be the height of ingratefulness if I don't thank Chairman jammu kashmir Teachers forum Mohammad Shafi Rather for his constant support and love I am very much thankful to Former Chairman JKTF Ab.Qayoom wani and shri Ganesh Khajuria ji and other former trade union leaders for their best wishes I am also indebted to my predecessor Mohammad Akbar Dar who discharged his duties in the capacity of the provincial president to the best of his capabilities. The constant support & encouragement of these people have egged me to move on. I will do my utmost to come upto the expectations of teaching and student community and will ensure that the organisation goes from strength to strength.
