NASA scientist and photographer Donald Pettit shared a space taken image of Makkah in which the Kaaba appears as a bright, shining point, astonishing viewers worldwide. His post went viral, as people expressed amazement and reverence at how clearly the Kaaba can be seen from orbit.

Seen from 400 km above Earth, the holy city of illuminates the desert night and at its heart, the appears as a radiant glow. astronaut Don Pettit shared the extraordinary view from the ISS, leaving viewers awestruck.
