At Foundation World School, sustainability is not a trend; it is a value deeply rooted in our traditions and lived through our actions. As a pilot school for the Cambridge Climate Quest programme, we are committed to helping students become environmentally conscious citizens who understand both the science and the spirit of sustainability.
Since 2023, our students, staff, and community have come together to plant 7,000+ saplings- including native species such as deodar and fir across our campus and in regions like Googaldara, Raiyar Ich (Raithen), Sutaharan, and Budgam Railway Station. With a goal of reaching 10,000 saplings, we continue to expand our green footprint.
Through plantation drives, climate literacy, and hands-on learning, we are building a generation that sees itself not just as learners, but as Guardians of the Earth - locally rooted, globally aware, and aligned with the vision of a sustainable future.

Foundation World School, a pilot runner for the Cambridge Climate Quest program, continues its commitment to environmental sustainability through plantation drives across and beyond its campus. Since 2023, the school has planted over 6,000 saplings and is now aiming to reach the 10,000 mark by next year.
In continuation of this initiative, the first plantation drive of the season was conducted today at Raithen, with active participation from students and staff. The drive reflects the school’s dedication to promoting ecological awareness and building a greener future.
