members of the Smart Village Revolution, a part of the and the Surya Institute for Sustainable Energy and Resource Solutions, UC Davis . Smart Village revolution is an initiative that helps empower villages, working closely with villagers to create a team that works with a focus of becoming more sustainable and enabling regional development.
As students from AITAM, SSCE, ACE, and UC Davis, were brought together by the Leadership Foundation and the Surya Institute to educate and develop solutions with villagers to address their issues.Diverse team of undergraduate students includes Engineers from the fields of Agriculture, Mechanical, and Electronics, as well as non-engineers in Environmental Science.interests are equally as diverse, and members of team strive to improve literacy, communication, health, equity, and environmental awareness.
Students were introduced to Smart Village Revolution as a part of the Student Innovation Club, from the student activity center, Aditya Institute Of Technology And Management(AITAM) .
25 villages were selected among them 7 villages are going to be developed under Smart village revolution in this year 2017.

Students were given an opportunity to do their internship in University of California,Davis as a part of Smart village revolution
