🌟 Dental Screening & Health Education Camp 🌟

Free Dental Screening and Health Education Camp organized by the Department of Public Health Dentistry and Pediatric and preventive dentistry, SDCRI at Saraswati Public School, Sri Ganganagar.

🦷 A successful oral health screening and education camp was organized at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sadhuwali Cantt. on 3rd and 4th November 2025.

✨ Over 1200 students were screened for oral health problems, followed by interactive health education sessions focusing on oral hygiene practices, diet, and preventive dental care.

👏 The camp aimed to raise awareness about the importance of oral health in overall well-being. The initiative was well-received by the students and staff, reflecting our continued commitment to community outreach and preventive dentistry.

On the occasion of World No To***co Day, the Department of Public Health Dentistry at Surendera Dental College organized a series of awareness activities aimed at highlighting the harmful effects of to***co use. The event featured a poster-making competition and a quiz competition, which saw enthusiastic participation from students. Additionally, a unique "Cigarette butt art" display, creatively designed by intern students, was showcased to reinforce the anti-to***co message in an impactful and artistic manner. These initiatives collectively served to educate and engage the college community in promoting a to***co-free lifestyle.

Dental Camp at KV School, Lalgarh: A Health Initiative by Surendera Dental College

The Department of Public Health Dentistry at Surendera Dental College, Sri Ganganagar, proudly organized a comprehensive dental screening camp at KV School, Lalgarh on the 29th and 30th of August, 2024. This two-day event provided dental screenings, health education, and tooth brushing demonstrations to 550 enthusiastic students.

Our dedicated team aimed to promote oral health awareness among the young minds, ensuring they understand the importance of maintaining good dental hygiene. Students participated actively in the educational sessions, learning valuable tips on proper brushing techniques and the significance of regular dental check-ups.

We are grateful to the management and staff of KV School, Lalgarh, for their cooperation and support in making this event a success. Together, we strive to build a healthier future for our community!
