Postgraduate entry
The requirements may range from a first-class honour’s degree to a lower second-class honours. The table below outlines what the University deem to be an equivalent grade/classification for the students in India.

English language requirement

Typically, IELTS scores of 6.0, 6.5, or 7.0 are required.
Alternative options for English language proficiency (e.g., CISCE or CBSE Core English) are accepted for certain programs.

Accomodations

University-managed Accommodation: The University of Lincoln’s managed accommodations are conveniently situated in Lincoln's city center or nearby, offering students easy access to campus and the city's amenities. With over 3,700 rooms spread across six residences, students have a variety of options to choose from. We strongly recommend applying for University-managed accommodation early through their online system, right after accepting the offer. Please note that these accommodations are intended for single occupancy only and are not suitable for families.

The dedicated Residence Life Team is available to support students transitioning to university life. They are ready to provide assistance whenever needed and also arrange a range of engaging social activities to help students settle in and meet fellow students.

Privately Rented Accommodation: Lincoln offers various privately rented accommodation options, so students can choose what best suits their needs and budget. If the student decides to live off-campus, it's important to research their transportation options and associated costs, as their timetable may require regular attendance on campus. The Students' Union has a lettings agency to assist students in finding privately rented accommodation in Lincoln. Students can also explore private, purpose-built student accommodation providers for additional options.
