On 18th April 2026, Government SSS Khanisirbong organized a farewell programme for the transferred teachers—Shri Shiva Prasad Luitel (GT Arts), Shri Manoj Manger (PRT, Manger Language), and Mrs. Sashicah Limboo (PRT, Limboo Language).
The programme witnessed emotional moments all around, as the school community came together to express their gratitude and heartfelt goodbyes. The school family extends its best wishes to them for their future endeavors and new journeys ahead.

CLASS X CBSE SCHOOL TOPPERS 2026
Government Sr. Sec. School Khanisirbong proudly congratulates our class X school toppers.
Akrati Manger emerged as the school topper in the Class X board examinations, securing an impressive 81.8%. She was followed by Munal Limboo with 71.2% and Nitish Limboo with 65.6%.
This year, a total of 12 students appeared for the examination. Out of them, 9 students successfully passed, while 3 students received compartment results.

Glimpses of Education Career Fair 2026
The students of Classes X (appeared) and XII (outgoing) visited the Education Career Fair 2026 held at Kisan Market, Namchi, on 8th March 2026. The fair aimed to provide valuable information about various courses offered by colleges and universities across the country, along with guidance on admission procedures.
Students had the opportunity to interact with representatives from different institutions, explore diverse career options, and gain clarity about their future academic paths. The visit proved to be highly informative and beneficial, helping students make more informed decisions regarding their higher education and career choices.

On 30th March 2026, Shri Som Bahadur Limboo, Government Contractor and Social Worker, visited Government Senior Secondary School, Khanisirbong. He was accompanied by Shri Jit Hang Limboo, CLC President of Rinchenpong Constituency; Shri D. K. Manger, Hon’ble Zilla Panchayat Member and SMC Chairman; and Shri Sanman Limboo, SMC Member.
During the visit, the school authorities placed several genuine demands before the dignitaries, including the shortage of teachers and classrooms, lack of adequate drinking water facilities, and the need for repairing the school building as well as the school ground gallery. The dignitaries assured that these proposals would be forwarded to the Hon’ble Chief Minister for necessary approval.
On the occasion, Shri Som Bahadur Limboo extended voluntary support by committing to provide a Xerox machine, a computer set, 10 cushioned chairs, carpets for three staff rooms, and the repair of four classrooms. As a gesture of goodwill, sweets were distributed among the students and staff by Shri Som Bahadur Limboo. He also contributed 15 kg of chicken for the students and staff as part of the Tithi Bhoj under PM Poshan.
It was informed by Shri Jit Hang Limboo that an application for the repairing and electrification of the old school building has already been forwarded to the higher authorities.
The dignitaries interacted with the staff and students, fostering a spirit of engagement, encouragement, and support for the overall development of the institution.
The school family and the School Management Committee (SMC) expressed their sincere gratitude to the dignitaries for their valuable time, support, and commitment towards the development of the school.
