Beans Harvesting from PM POSHAN Nutritional Garden

Students are excited to participated in the harvesting of fresh beans from the PM POSHAN Nutritional Garden in the school campus. The activity helped children learn about gardening, nutrition, and the importance of healthy eating. The harvested beans will be used in the mid-day meal to promote nutritious food habits among students.

Today, Government Primary School Karthok organized a special Tithi Bhoj programme on the occasion of the 51st Statehood Day of Sikkim.
A delicious meal was served to 40 students with the following menu:
🍗 Chicken
🧀 Paneer
🥗 Mixed Vegetables
🍲 Dal
🌶️ Gorkhay Achar
🥠 Papad
The programme was generously sponsored by the parents, teachers, and staff of the school. The school family expresses heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their kind support and contribution in making this Tithi Bhoj programme successful.

HAAT DAY OBSERVED AT SCHOOL

Our school observed Haat Day on Saturday with great enthusiasm as part of the Bagless Day Activity. The main objective of this programme was to provide students with practical knowledge about buying and selling, communication skills, and the importance of local markets.
Students actively participated by setting up small stalls with vegetables. They acted as shopkeepers and customers, which helped them learn the concepts of money transaction, measurement, bargaining, and teamwork in a joyful manner.
Teachers guided the students throughout the activity and explained the value of traditional village haats. The event created excitement among the children and developed confidence, creativity, and social interaction.
Haat Day was successfully observed in the school premises and proved to be an enjoyable as well as educational experience for all.
