GREAT TEACHERS MAKE LEARNING FUN, NOT FORCED

A great teacher is not known by how strict or mean they make teaching look.

A great teacher doesn’t just teach the subject, they make you fall in love with it. Because, that's how teaching should be.

They know how to turn even the most “boring” topic into something exciting, relatable, and enjoyable. So, they just don't read notes for the students.

When learning feels like a burden, students struggle. But when it feels like fun, curiosity takes over and success follows naturally.

That’s the difference between teaching for compliance, and teaching for impact.

Great teachers don’t force knowledge; they inspire it.

This is the kind of teacher I strive to be daily.

TYPES OF BOUNDARIES TEACHERS SHOULD MAINTAIN IN SCHOOL

✅Boundary of Communication

Maintain respectful, clear, and professional language with students, colleagues, and parents. Avoid overly personal or informal messages, especially outside school hours.

✅Boundary of Relationships with Students

Be friendly but Keep interactions supportive and professional. Avoid favoritism or unnecessary closeness.

✅Boundary of Physical Contact

Be mindful of physical interactions. Only use gestures (like a handshake or pat on the back) that are appropriate, necessary, and culturally acceptable.

✅Boundary of Time

Respect school hours. Avoid excessive after-school involvement with students unless it is part of official duties.

✅Boundary of Confidentiality

Respect students’ privacy. Do not share personal or sensitive information about students, parents, or colleagues.

✅Boundary of Discipline

Use fair, consistent, and school-approved disciplinary methods. Avoid using anger, insults, or personal attacks.

✅Boundary of Professional Conduct with Colleagues

Respect colleagues, avoid gossip, and maintain a culture of collaboration rather than competition.
